Right so what is the definition of 'asset stripping'?

From Wiki:
Asset stripping is a method in which a company or an individual, known as a corporate raider, attains control of another company, and then auctions off the acquired company's assets. The sold assets are often used to repay the debt of the corporate raider, which may have been increased due to the acquisition.[SUP][1][/SUP] The process of asset stripping is utilised by corporate raiders in order to repay the debts they may have, whilst increasing their net worth. A company that may become susceptible to asset stripping is a company whose individual assets are worth more than its collective net worth.

As sisu's investors have poured in money and the debt is left unpaid you can't really call them 'asset strippers'.

What you are trying to do is to create a following for a witch hunt. That is just so medieval.

You obviously haven't seen Twitter any time anybody questions their logic. This is why I say cult, it is like you must believe the stuff they come out with when they just throw things out there in an argument.

Nearly as random as the person using the Wasps CEO's statement as proof that wasps needed to move else they would die.... Then gobbing off about other people being uneducated and lazy as they haven't researched it.

I think "witch hunt" sums it up perfectly.

My point being, make it as easy as possible for people to do....

But no, you aren't used to people disagreeing or actually talking sense are you? The more people that can do it the better, more people will do it if it is easy.

You would probably realise that if you spoke to people outside of your SISU hating cult instead of just back patting for coming up with dodgy SISU hating graphics or RT for 1 or FAV for 2 with pointless shit wouldn't you?

What is your plan for it being under the cameras? Are they going to pan around the ground full of red cards? How will people get a red card?

What is the actual aim of it? What do you want to come of it?

It just looks as if it is a jolly for the cult so they can get excited about something on Twitter for weeks about who made the best sisu out song up or the best checklist about SISU with fancy little ticks, rather than actually trying to do something.

When you start talking sense, I might engage with you. You clearly have little knowledge of me as, if you did, you would know that I regularly discuss with people from across the spectrum of views with respect, even if we disagree. Shame that all you can do is behave like a WUM.

I knew enough to know exactly what the protest would all about the other day when I saw you were in on it ;)

So I'm not talking sense by saying that the easier it is the more people will do it?

It isn't a sensible question by asking what ACTUAL minute (as in the time ie 8.15pm) will it be for people to set their watches and phone alarms and will it be printed on the red card, how will people get a red card? Will they be handed out, are they on seats, will people need to print their own?

How is that not sense? It is the standard stuff people need to know to be in on it isn't it? What is wumming about it? Maybe if you answered people's genuine questions more people would actually do it and back what you are trying to do rather than just getting you coming on and having a go if questioned no matter how valid they are. The fact is you probably couldn't give a fuck if me or the bloke next to me joined in or not, it is like it is more about some "in thing". If you wanted me and the bloke next to me to protest you would answer a simple question rather than have a go at the person asking it. I already posted on another thread that if I had a red card and was told when to hold it up, it is not going to kill me so I'd happily do it, then you come onto threads like this...

One second let me translate to something you might like:

WHICH DO U HATE SISU 4 DA MOST.
1. TRYING TO RIP OFF DA TAX PAYAS WIV RICOH
2. SELLING CALLUM WILSON AND SPENDING DA MONEY ON A NEW YACHT

RT FOR 1 , FAV FOR 2

That's the kind of shit that gets people going though isn't it?

So what exactly is your aim? What do you want to achieve? How can you measure if the protest is a success?

So what exactly is your aim? What do you want to achieve? How can you measure if the protest is a success?

I have already asked that. No answer...

The same as "where do i get a red card", probably the most important question in the protest, again no answer...

The success is probably getting on TV and being back patted on Twitter for a day or so.

People moan about SISU just expecting fans to turn up with shit PR but then they expect other fans to do with they say and then act like dicks when asked the most basic questions.

No doubt there will be a swarm of allezwasps type crap about for disagreeing with the gang like last time ;)

Can't win here it seems.

Stay away from games and you get called a bad fan.

Go to games and protest and you get called a bad fan.

What exactly do people want?

I want for people to stop imagining things like people saying so and so is a bad fan... I can't see anybody here saying anybody else is a bad fan.

It'd be good if people stopped making shit up.

The process will be now "oh everybody on sky blues talk thinks that we are bad fans for protesting". It is how it seems to work.

One person comes up with something and then it spreads like it is fact. I bet all these people have images of Joy sat on a fancy yacht somewhere rolling around in Wilson's transfer money in £10 notes saying "I am so glad I have got one over on these city fans".

Meanwhile they go on and on about a stadium being outside of Coventry Boundaries and it being so wrong, while saying AllezWasps and going on about how they are the world's best wasp fan.

No wonder SISU piss themselves at the fans sometimes and take them for mugs.

I think Witch Hunt summed it up, people seem to get themselves riled up all day every day posting random pictures and Twitter votes. Then they bust out photoshop and obsess over it a little bit more.

I remember the days people would make Fan type pictures in Photoshop, maybe a background for their computer of Jay Tabb or something random like that. Now it is just how can I make something about SISU....

It has gone that far many have lost touch with WHY they hate sisu and what it is all about which is the 11 blokes on the pitch.

I don't think this has been very well thought through. If you're going to represent yourselves as an organised protest group then not having a named spokesman isn't a good start. If you believe you are in the right why would you need to stay annoymous?

As for the questions you ask I think you're playing into SISU's hands, some are subjective, some relate to the past (which won't help us going forward) and many you can already imagine SISU's answer, not saying I agree but you know what they will respond with:

Continued lack of investment in the playing squad: Will say the budget in the top third of the league, hard to increase budget without access to reveunes, 60p in the £ etc
No attempt to prevent relegation into League one: Very subjective, they will just say it's wrong
2 Administration's and consequent point deductions: Will place the blame on ACLs actions
Repeated Transfer embargoes: Will say it is in the past and not a current problem
Losing out on the Ricoh due to SISU's failed tactics: Will blame CCC and Higgs for selling to Wasps
The unforgiveable act of tearing the club from its community and dragging it to Northampton to ground share at Sixfields against virtually all CCFC fans wishes: Will say they had no other option
Repeated failure to meet deadlines and promises that the club made themselves regarding land deals for this new ground: I would concentrate more in this area
Considering plans to build a new ground to be built outside of Coventry - if it is not in Coventry then we are not interested. It's called Coventry City for a good reason: Hard to take that seriously the way Wasps have been welcomed
Re-mortgaging of the training ground: Hasn't that been paid off?
The sale of our best players for millions and replacing them with freebies and loan players: They will say the money hasn't been taken out of the club, is covering costs and the player budget
We are not moving to a new ground outside of Coventry so if they are your plans then put us up for SALE now and GO. If you have no plans for a new stadium as recent information obtained seems to indicate then why are you still here? They are still here as they want a return, if they can run the club practically break even what incentive is there for them to leave. Do we have any proof that there is anyone wanting to buy the club, they can't sell to someone that doesn't exist.

For me I'd approach it differently. Establish the new group and have identifiable people who fans can have dialogue in. Make sure it comes over as professional rather than just SISU out.

Open letter to SISU asking for:
Details of what SISU and related companies have put into the football club (for the sake of this that includes any company that could be considered the club)
What has been converted to equity and what is still debt
How to SISU plan to repay that debt and get a return on investment
Ask them to present a business case for building a new stadium
Explain why FOI requests seem to indicate no new stadium sites.

Give them things that need specific answers. If they can't or won't answer then you have an area to focus on with protesting.

Of course if there is a new owener waiting in the wings who can do things better than SISU, which wouldn't be hard, why not have them come out in public and explain their plans and how they are viable. My first question would be have you submitted a bid to SISU and if not why not?

Pretty much bang on! Get these new owners you know about and the consortiums to come and tell us their plans and people WILL back them.

Another tip is :

Don't have a go at people when they ask genuine questions and accuse them of WUMMING. It just makes it look as if you can't answer the questions (even if you can).

I'm totally apalled by the negativity that surrounds my football club and the obsession regarding our owners.

What we need is to build on the momentum and try and lift the manager and his staff and the players to greater heights, more consistency and success in the future regardless of the recent history.

Positivity just for s change instead of knocking and criticising everything involved with Coventry City!

They are not criticising everything involved with Coventry City. Just our ridiculous owners.

Once again you over inflated sense of importance obscures you from the uncomfortable truth.

Could we not all turn up, get behind the team and create an atmosphere like Gillingham and show SISU would they could have? Even if they don't go its been a great atmosphere and hopefully pushed the team on to win. This whole "do this on this minute" really is a bit random, isn't it? It will be even harder to do if they aren't showing the time on the scoreboard like the last game.... Do you find it ironic that so many people going on about this protest and saying if it is outside of the coventry boundary they aren't interested but now support Wasps? The message is that you won't support CCFC if they are moved to say Bermuda but support Wasps, is that not a bit floored? What is the actual aim of the protest?
Nick ...........How much have Sisu payed you , or indeed threatened you ! Or are you Timmy ...... Nick have you been bought out ????

Nick, I'm curious about your reference to 'AllezWasps' and being the world's best Wasps fan. Where does this happen? I can't recall seeing anything like that on here. It's difficult to believe that many people have replaced Sky Blues with Wasps in their sport leisure time. Have I missed something?

Sorry, it is more on Social Media Websites. I don't want to post individual people's profiles but they really aren't hard to find if you just search for SISU OUT or something :)

Seems to be a few rumours on there now about Wasps buying CCFC, they forget he said this:

Nick Eastwood: No not something we're considering (in regards to buying CCFC)

Yet if it did happen, he was lying to city fans, the same thing they are going on about SISU doing....

Oh, I see. I suppose you mean Twitter etc. Not interested in that!

Don't bring irrelevancies into the thread about the shop stock, fact lead time to obtain orders 20 to 30 weeks!

The club is in profit for the first time in many, many years thanks to the fact the rent is now sustainable and we are being run prudently, just for a change.

Who the fuck said its in Profit? Fisher alleges 'Cash flow positive', which is a million mile from being profitable. Particularly as SISU will take the pound of flesh interest that they most certainly did not earn.

But your happy, so Have a lovely evening:facepalm:

Seems Nick you are totally against getting rid of the cancer that is bringing our club to it's knees, I don't believe the protest will change much, but at least they are trying to do something about these tossers who have took each and every fan for a mug for too long now.

Seems, you are just chatting shit and making things up.

What is wrong with people, seriously? So in this thread it's been said people are bad fans for protesting and I never want sisu to go apparently.

did you miss the bit where I was saying get these potential owners to come out with their plan so we (including me) can get behind them?

Well I for one admit that I am a very bad fan. Why? because I am a Rabid City lover and a Rabid Sisu hater,as for Wasps couldn't care less. By the way haven't heard anything about tennis balls have you;)

He, and everyone else should be praying to God that enough fans still give enough of a shit to protest.

If as a group of fans we cant even be arsed to protest against the worst owners in the league, then we as a club are dead.

Twitter does seem to havve more than it;s fair share of cunts on it.

Surprised I haven't joined it yet!

I don't look much, but it is hilarious when you look at what somebody is saying now compared to what they were saying a couple of months ago and it is the absolute opposite.

If as a protest organiser you can't even tell somebody how to join in the protest and where to get a red card then the protest is a non starter...

I am glad that the NOPM fellas will be at the Swindon game though, I bet the Ricoh looks different without a sea of Wasps flags for them.

I am personally hoping we get a win against Swindon, the same as I hope for every game. Rather than hoping about how many people hold up a red card or how many people sing SISU out. I am going to watch a football match, if there is a red card near me and Im told when to hold it up ill do it, it wont break my back doing it. If it is some sort of secret thing where you have to be in the gang to ask questions without being a WUM then so be it.

Too many people are so obsessed with SISU they've forgotten to give a fuck about the football club.

The trust are constantly balls deep in Haskell, Hoffman, Elliott, Eastwood, Lucas or whoever is current flavour of the month to realise they don't actually represent the fans that they were elected to.

If these people really want to make a difference they would conduct themselves with class and professionalism... The one thing they criticise the club for not being.

Engage with the owners, maturely and positively.. Expose their failings by being the complete opposite.

Ask questions the fans want to know... But in a way that will bring dialogue.. Not in the petty one upmanship style.

And if you really want to run our club... Put your money where your mouth is and make them an offer they can't refuse.
