So who has said anything about bad fans?

That's the problem with our fans, one makes some shit up and the rest follow it blindly.

It is dangerous.

No Nick take it at face value I am a bad fan, after all I blindly hate Sisu, sorry to confuse you by putting in the "Rabid City lover"

If as a protest organiser you can't even tell somebody how to join in the protest and where to get a red card then the protest is a non starter...

I am glad that the NOPM fellas will be at the Swindon game though, I bet the Ricoh looks different without a sea of Wasps flags for them.

I am personally hoping we get a win against Swindon, the same as I hope for every game. Rather than hoping about how many people hold up a red card or how many people sing SISU out. I am going to watch a football match, if there is a red card near me and Im told when to hold it up ill do it, it wont break my back doing it. If it is some sort of secret thing where you have to be in the gang to ask questions without being a WUM then so be it.

WTF have Wasps got to do with it?

As for the game, I am sure we all want a win, are you suggesting otherwise?

However, if a 5-0 defeat somehow got us even slightly closer to getting rid of this disease then I would take it in an instant.

Where does it say bad fans? That says the worst cov fans.

Not that I actually agree with that, I just replied about Wasps ;)

Your splitting hairs there I think. If there are "worst fans" then that must mean some are the "best fans". That equates to having good fans and bad fans.

I want a win every game whether it is a friendly, a cup game, a league game, or a 5 a side game. Other people, it is up to them.

Like I said, I don't agree with that and apologies if that is the same thing. Some sisu haters are passionate city fans.

Apologies if it looked like I had agreed with that.

Too many people are so obsessed with SISU they've forgotten to give a fuck about the football club.

The trust are constantly balls deep in Haskell, Hoffman, Elliott, Eastwood, Lucas or whoever is current flavour of the month to realise they don't actually represent the fans that they were elected to.

If these people really want to make a difference they would conduct themselves with class and professionalism... The one thing they criticise the club for not being.

Engage with the owners, maturely and positively.. Expose their failings by being the complete opposite.

Ask questions the fans want to know... But in a way that will bring dialogue.. Not in the petty one upmanship style.

And if you really want to run our club... Put your money where your mouth is and make them an offer they can't refuse.

Why because they've met these people once or twice? How many times have they met representatives of Sisu and the club? each time they've met Sisu reps how many times have they answered questions without answering the question?

As for running the club where have the Trust said that?

Can you see even a single sentence in the press release that has anything to do with actually supporting the team....?

You know the one reason why we are all here....

The best thing for "the team" is investment, to play in a stadium in the city they represent, and to be safe in the knowledge that the club they play for is a stable place to advance their careers.

Most likely way to get all those things is with new owners.

The one and only problem I have with this protest is, the lack of fans who'll be going. I can only see a crowd of 7k-8k for a Monday night game.

They shouldn't be scattered all around the ground too.

What do others think the attendance will be?

So get these consortiums to come out and tell us their plans so we can get behind them? I am pretty sure if Billy Billson comes out and says I want to buy the club, this is what I will do, this is how I will do it then plenty more fans will be trying to force SISU out in different ways wouldn't they?

Also a question to Nick. How come some members don't have a like button? Bigratronssba being one of them?

Try refreshing the page, I think sometimes if you have liked something else sometimes it doesn't display. If you refresh it usually sorts it! If it doesn't let me know and I'll have a look if you can PM me with the post that doesn't have one!

Ian, they don't listen to the fans, meetings prior to Northants made it clear it wouldn't be supported but they carried on, do they answer the Trust's questions or did they marginalize them setting up their own preferred supporters forum. The 5 point plan is the first real document since the WASPS got the Ricoh up to then it was radio silence. Sorry they are poor owners with an unknown agenda running a club that is failing (crows numbers, turnover, league position - any measure you want).

Of course it's best for the team to stay in the city. But now the council have sold off the stadium built for us we either rent which means no development... Or build... Which would probably have to be on outskirts or right on boundary of city. What other choice do we have? Do these hidden protestors actually have a fucking plan or do they want to just make some noise and then slap each other on the back for being a superior fan?

Also, if it is by the scoreboard and in that corner then it will be underneath the TV cameras?

You would be better off taking over block 2 is it? Not the corporate but over that side and doing it there where people can see surely?

No doubt Ill get loads of abuse off some newly christened Wasps fans for saying that, just using common sense.

Just so you know Nick, There are plenty of CCFC fans who have no feelings whatsoever towards Wasps, but arent happy with how their club, CCFC have been run in the past 7 years, of which I am one.

I dont 100% agree with when and how this protest is happening, but i certainly not going to discourage any CCFC fans making it known to our owners and possibly a wider audience that we arent happy with the owners of OUR club

There is a difference between not listening, and just saying stuff you don't want to hear.

SISU and the Trust have both been culpable in allowing their relationship to fall apart. SISU for not being open and forthright, and the Trust for cosying up to anyone promising them riches and power.

The way forward document Is something to build a dialogue on. Will the trust grasp it with both hands, or just continue to point score to look good.

With a constructive approach the Trust can engage the club with how they can play a part in delivering the vision.

If it was a Wasps document they'd be dribbling over it.

Wasps don't bother me at all, I don't see why they would to others, we never owned the Ricoh before they come along anyway, nothings changed, SISU were never interested.

I agree, but when there are some that suddenly loves Wasps it discredits it for the others doesn't it?

No one talks about them more than you. You're clearly their No.1 fan, turning every thread into a discussion about an entity that has had no part in CCFC's downfall and no say in the day to day running of the club this site is apparently dedicated too. Why did you set up the Wasps sub forum if you have no interest in using it for it's purpose?

"some". Many many other CCFC fans don't. Feel free to do a poll. I think you will find many have no interest whatsoever in Wasps. I am not even sure why they keep being brought up on here. Havent you created a forum for them ?

It was setup to move things into which it is used for. Yes I am clearly their number 1 fan, I have been to every game.

I like to point out the irony amongst our fans, it is just a shame that some people fail to see it. You see some of our fans protest against SISU doing something that Wasps have done but the same fans try and justify it being done for Wasps while protesting, that is how blatant it is.

Our Trust are saying how Coventry cant be moved to Bermuda but are coming on here and trying their best to justify wasps moving with things like "Who cares about wasps fans" and crap like that.

Not according to Steve from the trust, the majority think it is great and want Wasps here?

Again WTF have Wasps got to do with it? Are you really so stupid that you're going to let someone going to watch a different team in a different sport effect your thought process over protesting about the club you apparently follow but talk little about being run into the ground by surely the worst owners in it's history?

If Coventry City Leaves Coventry then its not Coventry City.

Wasps are no longer London Wasps, no I do not have any interest in them as I am not really a rugby fan and personally I wish they never had set eyes on the Ricoh.

Though I am a bit jealous, if SISU 7 years ago had acted the way their owners have we might not be a mid table league 1 team.

This tells me you have little idea what you are talking about....a bit like Ed Milliband.

Nick, I am struggling with this one. So, because Steve from the trust thinks the majoirty of fans are happy with Wasps being here you want to mention them in over a dozen of your posts on this thread ?

If anyone else would have posted what you have on this thread, you would have had a word or moved them ?.

I am assuming its a thread about a CCFC protest about the way our owners have ran our club for the last 7 years. Wasps have been here for 7 weeks !

It's responses like this that removes all creditability. No arguments. No reasoning. Just juvenile screaming.

No, but I am going to use other people's opinions on other things to judge their abilities to judge things (like I am sure people do with me, which is norma;)

It isn't the fact that people are going to watch Wasps, it is the fact they are going mad that if we move to nuneaton to survive but will openly justify another team doing it. The ones who were welcoming SISU with open arms but now have a go at others because they dont shout about them every 5 minutes (the same other people who werent going mad for them coming in). I will always take peoples other thoughts and opinions into consideration when I listen to their opinion. If people are just shouting SISU out with no aim why would I listen to them? I'd listen to people like OSB, Chiefdave, Duffer (to name a couple) who I may not have the same views as on everything but they actually have points to make rather than just SISU OUT.

Are you really so stupid you can't see the irony of people like Jan calling people selfish if they were to go and watch CCFC in Nuneaton in the same sentence he says he doesnt care about Wasps fans? Then people hang off their every word?

If people are protesting I want there to be an aim to the protest and a realistic outcome.

Apparently follow? Yeah, I'm not really a city fan. Enough of one for me to know the clock on the scoreboard didn't work last week though and to pay out of my own pocket for a website for Directors of Rugby teams and Stadium Management companies to come on and spout their shit ;)

Yes, and my point was can you justify protesting about moving to Nuneaton while supporting Wasps at the same time?

I don't doubt SISU are shite, thats why I want these consortiums to come out and tell us their plan so we can all be together in trying to get them in to replace SISU. Isn't that the wanted end game?
