@Lesreidpolitics: Will those behind latest #CCFC fans protest & takeover rumour reveal who they are? Same people who didn't oppose Ricoh sale?

Sure it's obvious and I'm just being slow but who's he hinting at here?

AWOL fans are due to SISU, nothing more, nothing less.

Supporting the team is standard, I don't think we need reminding of it in a press release. But that's my opinion alone.

So why should I support a protest that doesn't have supporting the team as one of it's intrinsic values?

Who said they all went AWOL anyway? I was at the Gillingham game and 6 homegame since. Am I classed as AWOL or am I probably just like the majority of the 17,000 and cant commit to a season ticket so pick and choose when I go?

I would suggest that the biggest AWOL section is the ones who havent come back in any capacity since the return to the Ricoh. Still that's probably the fans fault hey Ian.

You are being pedantic. You know I was not referring to those who support the team when and where they can. That does not explain the drop off in attendances in excess of 15K

Are you happy then with your treatment as a fan over the past 7 years?, if you are then don't protest. No-one will force you. But that drop of 17,000 after 1 game surely means an unhappy fan base due to the constant drivel from the owners?

It should be noted that not taking part in the protest isn't an indication of satisfaction with circumstance.

That isn't how it seems to work though.

There is very much the "If you don't agree, you are happy with SISU" type shit going on again.

I won't be there as unfortunately I have to be at work that evening.

So does that categorise me as a SISU sympathist, a NOPM, an excuse maker?? Perhaps I need to consult with these new kids on the block...

I'm not happy with the general decline of our club.. pretty much since 2001 which obviously does include the last 7 years. Have I been treated poorly as an individual fan? No.

The decline of our club has come down to the failings of many people.. SISU are one part of the jigsaw.. albeit a reasonably large one.

I would be happy for them to leave if someone came in and actually made them an offer to go. Not just make a fuck load of noise and then doing nothing.

Will RFC reveal himself ?

Is he running a protest group moaning about the lack of transparency at our club? If he is, I can see your point!

Will people keep making rumours about who certain users are and are probably miles off ...probably... :) That seems to be quite an issue, people on social media and in little groups starting little rumours without anything behind it.

Can I just confirm yet again the Sky Blue Trust are not behind the protests on Monday and I personally have no idea who is.
Do not know anything about another party being interested in the club.

Steve, I haven't said the Trust is behind it or involved with it at all. Does anybody think it is the trust doing it?

I wonder what response Simon Gilbert would get if he asked the democratic elected representatives of the fans for a comment to the protest?

To be fair, I haven't thought the Trust had been behind it and I can only see them distancing themselves from (by distancing I mean confirming it isn't them organising it). I think if you read Steve's posts between the lines it kind of gives a response else he wouldn't have made the effort to come on and post that.

That's the way I read it anyway.

Wonder what response Simon Gilbert would get if he asked the undemocratic destroyers of our club for a comment to the protest?

That too.
A good journalist would ask all parties.

To be fair I asked the question as to whether the Trust were involved. I only asked because if you read on Twitter some of the other more high profile Trust members have endorsed it as well as liking the statement on here.

It's hardly a conspiracy but felt was worth asking.

Are you not capable of supporting the team without being told to? Or did I miss the part of the statement that says you're not allowed to support the team if you're protesting?

Who said anything about being told to? Anyone with a brain would have thought that supporting the team would be top priority in regards to our club, and likewise mentioned in an subsequent attention seeking press releases.

Clearly you feel that having a little bitch and moan and then high-fiving each other afterwards for a splendid array of cards with words on is far more important than going to support the football team on the pitch.

Perhaps if some people put the same level of energy and passion into getting behind the team as they do with their protests we might have a favourable reaction from the players.

But as long as we've got someone to blame that should see most people happy enough.

Suppoters are sick of the state of the club even if we flocked in the thousands as they have, the owners would still run this club into the ground....The alternative is going along happy clapping the team of players on the pitch, while in the background the club is slowly dying, is that a better policy?. Maybe this is the reason that showing how the majority feel is better than sticking your head up your arse pretending all in rosey in the garden..

This problem with the owners is not going away, even with or without the supporters they will carry on taking the interest on loans and squeezing any monies out they of the club they can. Do i care who is behind it? No, i know the aim and i agree with it , i hope the majority also agree. As its the future that is in question not what we do on a week to week basis that really counts... We needs answers, we needs to know from JS where the new ground is, how they are paying for it and how much if anything will they charge the club for playing there, that would be a good start to getting some back into the ground!!!!!!!!

I remember the last SISU out protest at the Ricoh - bedsheets were confiscated and people were running up and down in block 15 and trying to get on the pitch, mostly pissed up and fighting with themselves. The team looked petrified.

Should look very dignified on Monday night on TV.

Most likely Sky Blue God's Hoffman and Elliott putting wind up someone's sails again, although neither have a pot to piss in, and most likely the group coordinating the protest have had it put to them that their is an imaginary group interested by these two.

I agree we need to do something before it is too late however, just if it is these muppets talking again to a group of supporters, then I will not hold my breath, especially after the last diabolical joke with PH involved who again never had a pot to piss in.
