I think that everything has to ultimately come down to SISU on the old adage that "The Buck Stops Here".
I agree that having a new manager every year or so is not a sound policy, but the reason for that is the managers they appoint are invariably poor. We simply don't attract decent managers, just whichever of the usual suspects happen to be out of work at the time. The only exception in recent years was Robins who was way above the rest but soon saw what he had let himself in for and baled out. Any managers we might want will not be interested, and any who are interested are likely to be people nobody would want.
The same applies to players. Because of what the club has become, we are getting the out-of-contract journeymen that nobody else wants, and the same is likely to be true of our loans. I get the impression that many of our players are not bothered, biding their time until they can get to the exit door. The lack of ambition pervades through the club and it shows everywhere.
