The rent strike started in April 2012, hardly surprising there was little willingness to do business with SISU just a few months later at the time of the council meeting referred to in Reid's latest spin, err.. I mean story.

My spider senses lead me to believe that Pete Chambers and RFC are the same person, although I could be wrong. I'm going with it anyway..
What makes you think that? Its not on naming people, however the research I've done says it isn't ;)

If they're sharks, what are CCC??????????

I was writing about SISU, not CCC. If you are interested in a debate about whether or not SISU would be poor people to do business with then I'm up for it. I'm waiting, make your case for them being good counterparts.

Ha ha well I guess I will take your word for it given that you have the research in front of you.

Damn it. I just thought that because they both whittle on and share similar views that no-one else on this forum (or planet). Back to the drawing board :( I'll get you next time Chambers!

It could well be, I haven't find any proof though.

I think you need to go to a couple of parties.

Perhaps CCC aren't good people to do business with? Only time will tell for the franchise egg chasers! PUSB

Not Mr Chambers, look at the SCG I would suggest.

Nothing new in the observer that hasn't already been stated in the court of law. Les reid looking a tad foolish. Again lol

Strange timing to release this now as it was included in the JR.

Poor effort at a smokescreen, though for what I ask, to take us away from the case of SISU have given up on CCFC football matters ?

The problem is it seems that anything against the council has either been ignored or just passed people by. When it was mentioned as part of Reid's article yesterday that Lucas had made the hell will freeze over comment there were a lot of people denying it had happened or saying it had been wrongly attributed to her. In fact Labovich got ridiculed when it was reported back from one of the meetings that he had claimed Lucas had made the comment.

We've had months of people saying the council are blameless as SISU never made a bid yet it seems in all that time it's been known the council had no intention of ever selling to SISU. So how come this wasn't mentioned constantly like snippets to beat SISU with are.

Have to say the last few days have really surprised me. The way a large section of the fanbase has quite happily accepted that the council have lied whilst screwing the club for the foreseeable future, now seemingly carried out on the basis of false information is unbelievable. If it had been something painting SISU in a bad light I'm sure the response would have been very different.

Les Reid at it again. Bringing out an article form last summer hahaha and some fans like RFC go in up roar.

It's the smoking gun. I guess it's only come out now as the appeal got rejected?

If there WAS anything in the SISU JR case as Reid seems to be dredging up, Sisu and their laywers were spectacularly poor at presenting any sort of coherent argument. Its almost as if by the time of the JR they couldnt be arsed.

so the ACL was ok while CCFC paid the rent, so the only thing lucas has lied about was saying that ACL was not viable without CCFC ?

so the judge is right saying no problems for ACL while ccfc was there and is also right saying sisu tried to distress ACL by not paying the rent.

So the thing people are pissed off about is the fact that lucas said ACL didn't need ccfc when they did?
and people are pissed off that SISU tried to screw CCC out of the stadium by distressing ACL ?

So they are both as bad as each other ?

For me there's a follow on from that. When CCC kept claiming then didn't need CCFC for ACL to be sustainable and that it was making a profit without the club that in my mind meant CCC could quite happily hold on for ACL pretty much indefinitely. Keep it ticking over running at a small profit or break even. They could basically outlast SISU and then when a new owner was eventually at the club everything would fall into place.

Now I'm in the position where I can't be sure who has told the truth about what. It turns out some of thing things Fisher, Sepalla and even Labovich claimed were actually true, you have to then start and wonder what else they said may have been true.

No. It was obvious that the council would try to make out that they didn't need the team there to make a profit while SISU were Illegally withholding rent.
On another note - what are SISU doing presenting notes from a council meeting? Sneaky bastards.

Truth is I don't like the council. BUT I absolutely hate SISU.

I agree with that chief but the fact that sisu was trying to distress ACL to get the stadium makes them just as much a liar as lucas(if its all true) and just as bad because they did not have the best interests of the fans or the club at heart ( same as the council) because they want the stadium for their own investors not CCFC ? does that not make them both as bad as each other using CCFC and the fans as pawns for their own gains ?

I agree, they are all as bad as each other. The thing is sisu own the club so it's their duty to do right, but the council played on the heart strings of fans about how they love the club.

I dont think many will disagree when you say they have ask been at it.

They could hardly say we are going broke. They needed an alternative to SISU who were distressing their company.

I am not starting to think what else may have been true as I think SISU would have had LR on the case a long time ago with their evidence and/ or they would have produced it court. Even now LR has not told us anything we didn't know or at least suspect. The accounts were always going to come out and as long as ACL pay the loan off on time, no-one will be too bothered about AL's sales pitch.

SISU have not said a lot about the Wasps deal, so there is little that can be true or untrue in their statements.

All that doesn't exclude some embarrassing revelations coming out in the future though regardless of what SISU said.

No doubt they're both filthy liars. One thing that also sticks in the throat is the council coming out and telling everyone that relationships and trust needs rebuilding, whilst all the while doing a sneaky deal with the franchise.
