Please for the love of god don't let Mowbray come out and say we were terrific and that he's proud of the group

Port vale are better than us and in Marshall and Pope have two genuine match winners

Remind me why we let Marshall go again? Oh... that's right SP was our manager.

We are in a situation now where if we lose one more game and a couple of the teams below us win, we are well and truly fucked.
Also, the teams above us are pretty much all in with a chance of reaching the play-offs so will be striving to achieve that.
There will be no easy games from now on.

Played awful need to get the ball on the floor and play football half the time they were playing head tennis

Bar the first 15 minutes, that was a poor performance. Too many of our squad are just not good enough. We seem to either be tight at the back, but can't score goals; or score goals and but then leak too many. This has been a problem all season.

Young team. Naive

Thought only one team would go on to win

Soft free kick to concede to find ourselves behind

Work in progress moving forward

No surprise team are where they are

Mistakes through inexperience

Couldn't fault effort

Scored 2 decent goals

Frustrated as need points

Young back 4 and GK is concerning

Statistically with Reda in team we are better

Teams have big CF's

CB's did well although young

Protection needed to be stronger

Have to stand up and be counted

Has gone now. Now look to Tuesday night which is the important thing

Need to go and try and get a result Tuesday

Remake today was not to get caught with fancy football.

A lot of teams play for corners, free kicks.

Nativity of goals was alarming but can work on that. if have to work on defending at expense of attacking we will

League is a tough one

Who makes the difference? Usually individuals; ppl who score goals from nothing

Should have enough goals in us (names most of the strikers)

Have to find a way to win

Style of play not important at the moment

Need a bit more protection of young back 4

To do that you have to take away the threat from the other end of the pitch

Let defenders do their job.

Not much time before next fixture to work on things

Mentions 'frustrating' again

I said it after last week and I'll reiterate it again, this team doesn't look fit. They are completely gone after 30 minutes

It's not a coincidence that under Robins we could score late goals an come strong at the end and now we barely get a kick after the first 30 minutes of a match

Wasn't a good performance, but by no means did Vale deserve the win. All of their goals could have been avoided.

Aside from running around a lot what do people see in O'Brien? His goal was the only good thing he did all day and I don't think I've seen him put in a good performance in months. Final ball and decision making is shocking.

I am growing increasingly disappointed with JOB. For every good thing he does he appears to undo it with a piece of untidy player or error.

Thought all 3 of the midfield trio were pretty poor in their final balls and decision making.

Thanks again sw88. would have taken me all night to type that.

He realises the defence, through inexperience is his major concern. Protection required. Scrappers needed. Tx again. PUSB

Agreed, but Fleck and Barton aren't widely praised by the fanbase like O'Brien is.

Disappointing today, midfield was so weak it was shocking. Thought we were very naive how we gave away the goals. Same players that have been poor all season so nothing major was going to change overnight.

Trying to be positive though at least TM was prepared to go for it by playing 4 up front towards the end. In a strange way that was the perfect performance today so TM could see exactly what we've watched all season

Just finished work and disappointed that we didn't win given the score when I was giving myself indigestion at what passed for a lunch break. Hopefully TM will be able to do something to improve things before the trip to Chesterfield. On the clutching at straws attempt to be positive we did at least score two today which is something to take away.

That's because most people confuse a lot of useless running around with actually doing something productive. But he scored today, so he is let off for this game.

Although the result wasn't what we wanted, you could tell Pressley wasn't in charge. No constant passing back or sideways, more attack minded. Still more than confident TM will get us out of this hole. Looking forward to the Bradford game and then the trip to CHesterfield next week.
