I would say Stokes is not fit enough, rather than not good enough, but admittedly was well at fault for their second, not sure if it was him or Martin who fucked up for Donnys third

Yes I agree with that. He needs a pre season with us to decide if it is just fitness that is causing the errors or ability. However he should not be first choice right now

Possibly the worst half we've played all season?

Doncaster's midfield controlled the game second half. Wellens is still a class above at 50 years old.

Agree, Dongo. Stokes will be fine, but the problem is - as has been proven on here - every single error he makes gets jumped upon. Others players make errors but get off relatively lightly. He shouldn't probably be first choice but I would still personally play him ahead of Haynes. Maybe if Reda comes back then Stokes will get a rest.

You're right, we never lost or conceded when haynes played left back. Moreover he never gave away cheap freekicks or at fault for any goals we have concede this season....

Anybody else see him and ward having beef? I feel if we had had a Wellens all season we would be in a better place

I know. I thought hussey was crap, Malaga a joke and thorn a useless lump of lard. Yeah what do I know.

Yeah what do you know?? All three judgements totally unfair and inaccurate.

Bang on.

Burge has been caught out too many times at his near post of late.

Willis just doesn't posses the technical ability to play at RB.
Agree about Willis. I think he is a good defender, but he lacks the technical ability needed for a full back role when bringing the ball forwards.

Another 'shit' player not good enough for us
14 goals this season so far

If only we had a striker who scores goals...

I think he realised that but only after it was too late. Was a strange one to say the least. Can understand him wanting to make our right side stronger, but I'd have still gone for either Turgott or Jackson for that sub rather than Phillips

Turgott is an enigma. Continually been ignored, presumably not ready for first team football.

I don't disagree, but your point hardly disproves my point, does it? ;)

With Barton and JOB usually starting and Odelusi Scoring nearly every time he plays It's difficult I guess
We may reach a point where he gets on because of all the loanees though
Oh and this thread Is only a few pages more than last week's when we won

Could we actually put three wins together?!

I'm saying yes, City 3-0 Donny with Samuel, Fleck and Ward scoring.

With the nostalgic tone of the day, maybe, just maybe this is the start of the return to the good old days (or the slightly less worse days)

And again...
