He was a bit of an over confident type when he was a player, so doesn't surprise me. However, still remember the great 25 yard sreamer v Watford in the LC QF replay in 1980, and of course the chip v Man City in the FA Cup.

Hasn't been given a consistent run in the side.

He isn't good enough to warrant a run in the side. Just admit it, he's nowhere near as good as you thought he would be when he signed.

Back on topic - I would have preferred to see Phillips today as well (at right back, not in midfield).

If Tudgay, Nouble and Madine were 'good' enough to warrant a run in the side, Jackson certainly is.

And yet, he hasn't been given a run, ergo, not 'good' enough. He's played enough minutes, and we can all see he's not very good.

Come on, just admit it. You nailed your colours to the mast pretty early. ;)

First team sheet I saw had Odelusi on the bench. Now it's Finch. Has he picked up an injury in warm-up?

He's a finisher, simple as. He movement, run and finish against Crawley was very similar to that of Samuel's goal last Saturday. He's been getting 20 minutes at the end of games (Mainly under Pressley) out wide. Play him up front (consistently), give him chances and the goals would come.

That's your opinion. Pressley and mowbray would have seen plenty of him in training, and yet haven't started him or given him a run. He is rightly 4th choice.

Be an interesting afternoon for Chris Stokes, both Smith at RB and Taylor at RM are very pacy. Just a tad worried for the lad.
