Anyone hear the JE interview yesterday on CWR? Talking about HR. It was actually interesting to hear his views on stuff. He liked HR (like most of us did) but for the club to progress we needed to move. Agree and disagree with that in equal measure as I didn't want to leave in the first place, but I suppose hindsight in a wonderful thing.
He was going on about Northampton and it being wrong to move and would be wrong to move the club again in the future. Then he said, which did make me chuckle, that he was looking forward to the Wasps - Leicester game as he loves his rugby. Brilliant.
Such useless comments like that are why its rare I bother with this site anymore.
I don't particularly like Villa or Reading as an example, hence I don't go and watch either of them play.
But why does Wasps getting the arena make it right to go and watch them when he was so much against our move?
Dont think that we can say right or wrong in going to sixfields or elliot watching Wasps at the Ricoh . You do or you dont ,its up to you. The reason i didnt go to sixfields was to get city back in the Ricoh by contributing to the theory that if nobody went they would hot foot it back . Im going next saturday because i like rugby .That doesnt make anyone on here a better supporter than i am.

So, if you go to watch a rugby match, you automatically must like one of the teams? weird
I've watched many a football game not involving CCFC, and enjoyed a lot of them. Most of them, I didn't "like" either team.
eg An old mate of mine is an Everton supporter, and i went with him to watch everton play Man U in a semi at Hillsborough years ago. Can't stand either team. Enjoyed the day out and the game though.
Hope he got his ticket in time !!

Oddly can't seem to spot the front page story about the Crawley game selling out.
Another one who was on here telling people what is right and wrong about Sixfields and seemed to think "highly" of people who did want to go....
"but I like Rugby"
Funny how we can't say whether it is right or wrong about Sixfields now Wasps are here and it is all "people can do what they want", at the time you were quite quick to tell people it was wrong at the time. Changed your tune a bit now?
How did it go again, having pops at people who took their kids to Sixfields? Something about dont take your kids and teach them about the moral battle? I like it!

Same here. Been to many a Forest game over the years with a mate who's a forest fan and he's also been with me to watch Cov games including 2 this season. Not forgetting Rugby fans have a completely different mentality to football fans. I have a mate who is a big Tigers fan but cant get a ticket so he watches Wasps if he wants to watch a premiership game.
If you're going to compare horses it normally pays to compare them to horses.
Elliot is a moron. The only people who stick up for him or worship him are the brain dead
exactly Nick...... for me Elliott and Hoffman have been part of the problem not a possible solution to it, at times some of their decisions and antics have made things worse, deflected attention from the core issues - but that's just my opinion
I have mates who support other clubs. I sometimes go to games with them. But other than my mate who supports Wimbledon no club has been moved well away from where it should be. And he now supports AFC Wimbledon.
I go to the occasional rugger game. Not bothered who I go to see. It is all about the day out. But I wouldn't go to a Wasps game. I don't think I need to say why again. And on top of that they have fucked up my football clubs future by getting the Ricoh. I understand why CCC let them have it. It still doesn't make it right though.
Mad worse by the fact that he is jumping on the SISU out bandwagon in this video, ignoring the fact he brought them here in the first place.
Not sure he knew what they would turn into when he did. But classic foot in mouth over the rugby, he could work for the council with that attitude.
You're making excuses for him there.
Nobody knows how anything will turn out when they start something.
He's had a role in our downfall, about time he held his hands up.

What excuses is he making on his behalf?
So he likes Rugby too. What's the problem with that FFS?Anyone hear the JE interview yesterday on CWR? Talking about HR. It was actually interesting to hear his views on stuff. It's happened. Get over it Stupot!
I'll write to the queen and ask whether we can scrap Remembrance Sunday. I'll just quote you "it's happened (the world wars). Get over it"
The problem is, it has happened and the club may never get over it now we have a glass ceiling firmly placed above us by the prospect of never going to be able to own the Ricoh. But then again who cares?!

Funny how the ones who are moaning about the wasps the most are the ones who felt it was ok to go to shitfields.
Well he is in good hands 32,600 happen to agree with him.
Are no Leicester fans going to the game then?
