They also put in a bid for the Higgs half which would seem to suggest they would have purchased if offered the same deal as Wasps.

They never put any bids in until administration. had 7 years to make an offer stop defending the in defensible.

They did put a bid in with conditions. Higgs took the bid of the same amount with no conditions, a stand named after them which will accumulate 50p a seat.

As has been explained many times by the likes of OSB and others Wasps bid was also conditional, any bid would be. It is likely the conditions were that SISU had access to the same information that Wasps had been granted access to so that they could undertake due diligence.

Wow, the words "due diligence and Sisu", in the same breath.....

No brainer really.

Wasps bid was conditional - we have 100 or no deal.

Nicky Eastwood is training you well. Does he allow to go for walkies now and again?

Sisu would have jumped at the chance to purchase the Ricoh if they had been offered the same deal as Wasps. We would have then, however, been faced with cries of a children's charity being ripped off.

Another question.

Do SISU always wait to be offered an investment all the time or do they pursue them? I would guess where the Ricoh is concerned if you're seriously suggesting that they were waiting for someone to lead them by the hand into a investment this would be a first for them. If you were one of their investors wouldn't you be wondering what you're paying them for?

Maybe their PR machine is telling them to try and deflect what a poor state the playing staff and the fact we do not have a manager and fans won't notice and will re-new/buy for the 1st time or reinstate their season tickets.

NEWS FLASH.... It's not working SISU!!!! Stop the crap, and run the football club. You thought you were the only club in town and would get the Ricoh for nothing, you were wrong and you've failed. I would concentrate on getting rid of the people or persons advising you on how to run CCFC, the real problem here, not trying to distress a council, since ACL and the Higgs are no longer worth going after.

You know the Council 'offered' a longer lease to Wasps.....for fact? Might it have been during the 'negotiation' process, that WASPS 'requested' a longer lease to make it economically justifiable? Just asking, 'cos I don't know either......I wasn't there at the negotiations......but it sounds as if you were! So please tell, was it 'offered' or was it 'requested' or was it 'negotiated'?
Remember, at this point CCFC/SISU/OTIUM had already stated many times that they were NOT interested in the Ricoh, as they had their sights set elsewhere. That only left ONE player in town......the WASPS.

No I wasn't there at the negotiations and my use of the word 'offered' could have just been 'agreed to' instead. The fact remains though that only the council (as freeholders) could have extended the ACL lease.

I'm well aware that Sisu came out and said on numerous occasions that we weren't interested in the Ricoh. That wasn't a very smart move either.

It is about time Sisu acted on TF words 'the ship has sailed' stated multiple times and heard by thousands live on radio.. Smart man our Tim,,, time for Sisu to sign TM build a squad and look to go forward or with any hope sail away never to be seen again...Other than that this board is truly like watching back to the future for years to come....

Well, whether you think it's funny or not she said it and then the council received the grand total of one bid and not from SISU either. It's like complaining you haven't won the lottery when you've never bought a ticket.

Forgive me, but this is bullshit. At what point after we returned from Northampton, and before the sale to Wasps was the sale of ACL opened to all bidders? This is delusional.

The council said come back and rebuild trust, and negotiated to sell ACL to Wasps in secret at exactly the same time. This is a matter of public record.

Sisu had to come back from NTFC it was not CCC begging them back on false promises, Sisu had no other option. I do however agree by then Sisu had created enough damage that getting the Ricoh was not going to happen...

Sisu really are not victims in this they are the ones who have put our club in this situation, the fans are the victims.

Was that around the same time sisu said they didn't want the Ricoh?

While ccfc were paying 1mill+ in rent no one was getting the councils half, had sisu made an offer 7 ,5 ,2 years ago they would probably have been quoted 5 times what it was sold for.
It was only sold because ccfc left and showed how appallingly ACL was actually run.
Take out the rent and the Ricoh had probably made fuck all in 10 years.

TF says 'we are going to build our own stadium' - universally hailed as bullshit.

TF says 'we don't want the Ricoh' - universally hailed as gospel truth.

That's a situation that TF has created himself. I suggest you take it up with him if it bothers you that much.

Why don't you answer the point raised by Duffer a couple of posts above as he is right.

You are talking utter crap.

Sorry The Thread Police I didn't know I was obliged by law to reply to his post. Am I not allowed to accept that he disagrees with me and move on? You tell me as you're the one who seems to be making the rules up for the forum.

The time to bid was around dec 13, when the request to put a bid in was published. You don't seriously think that the deal was still available after we came back do you?

I'm not worried about it... it's the other people hanging off every word to justify sliding up to Wasps.

You obviously are worried about it as are some other posters who keep bringing it up. How you can link the duplicity of TF to Wasps is quite staggering. I don't recall any one else making that link except you just now. Maybe you're the one trying to slide up to Wasps? I don't know but you seem to like talking about them.

And this is the problem that we have that makes some peoples views look one sided towards SISU. If anyone from SISU have said anything we should ignore it especially from Fisher. But if it is said by CCC it is cast in stone and constantly used.

I think it's safe to say that is happening with regards to both parties.
