Do people mention top 6 as we have finished in the top 7 in this time? If we'd have finished 6th would it be no top 5 finish?

I was going to ignore you but you seem to be more sensible today.

Prem top 6 a place in Europe.

Championship top 6 promotion /playoffs

Our division top 6 promotion /playoffs

It could have been better. It should be better now. But we also shouldn't be seen as a lower club than Shrewsbury. But we are. I was born in the late 60's. We have never finished in the top 6 in all this time. Where is the excitement that keeps bringing us back?

1969/70 season we finished 6th - but you were a bit young to be even a JSB :D

The worst stat of all is 1 top 10 finish in 26 years. Utterly abysmal.

And that season wasn't a usual one as we had a world class player join us for a few months and took us from a relegation battle to 8th.

I now await some bright spark to say that Wise wasn't world class and it wasn't down to him :)

I haven't had a season ticket for a few years and won't in the future unless my lad gets the bug, as I cannot commit to all weekends because of family stuff. However, me and an old mate have bought a couple of the match packet deals, so that we can meet up, plus it will commit me to more games and give us to catch up at the match again. I will be interested to see how many of these packages have been sold, as though they won't count as season tickets I think they will prove really popular - good value, plus give you flexibility (much needed in my case), whilst making me feel a little better about supporting the club financially up front. Sorry if these have been discussed to death earlier in the thread - can't be doing with trawling the umpteen pages!;)

Good man!

I think most of us believe Mowbray is a good manager. A half decent team and we should have a winning season and good football to boot.

Not sure what else we want.:thinking about:

The bigger the crowds, the more support for the team and the better for the club. Let's get up there and back the team and the manager and leave any hatred for the owners on the back burner for now.

How can you though if they don't fund him a team FFS ? These cunts with pre existing form could just fudge it all again ! I really hope that things improve but this is Joyless and Tim !

I assume TM has had the assurances he asked for as he is still here. Could we please let them all get on with it?

They've funded a team every season. Last season it was one of the top 8 funded in the league. What are you on about?

Does anyone know how the package deals are counted with season tickets? would it be 4 people buying the 6 match package would equal 1 full season ticket?

Almost half way then of the target 6k. A couple of signings could boost it or is this about the lot?

But then, yet again I say, it's more than likely we will sign players just about no-one will ever have heard of. How is that going to boost season ticket sales?

We sign a player from say, Rochdale and one from Crewe, how is that going to make people want to go out and by season tickets? These players might turn out to be great buys for us, but we will only see that once they start playing for us for a few games. Once we are into the season it is less likely people will buy season tickets.

I think the bulk of those who are going to buy season tickets are more likely to have done so during the initial phase of release. Yes there will be ongoing sales, but surely that will be a trickle, rather than surge?

Yes, agree. And the early bird offer ends soon too, increasing the price and making it less likely anyone will buy one.

The early bird offer should surely be extended for at least a week so there is a bit of overlap with the new shop.

What about when we signed tudgay, nouble and Jackson who were names. Did people rush out to get them then?

They did. I think we sold an extra 3 or 4 thousand on the back of that.

You just wait now till we sign Fred Smith and Bert Jones. The sales will skyrocket!!

Show me the evidence on that one.
Certainly no evidence on the pitch.
Fair play rules from Sixfield takings wouldn't allow it surely ?

I fully accept if signings won't make a difference.

So we are going to get 3k sales of ST and that's it then. Half way short of the target.

Was thinking this myself, not everyone has a card to buy online or over the phone. Some will be waiting to get paid at the end of the month, also think the 6&12 match packages will be quite popular.

We are buying players like that because we cant sell decent amounts of season tickets. 2800 ST sales is pisspoor and frankly an embarrassment .Being a supporter does mean SOME sort of commitment you know. Some of the loudmouths on hear need to take a look at themselves. If you haven't bought a season ticket, shut the fuck up.

Obviously andreas has attended the same business masterclass and charm school as Tim Fisher. Loudmouths on an internet chat forum - or should I have written that all in capitals. The huge losses in 2013/14 crowds of under 2,000 were also frankly an embarrassment - all caused by the current owners, its repercussions will last for a long time but I need to do as Andreas say be quiet accept the SISU way as they clearly know what they are doing.

IF anyone thinks knocking a few quid of a season ticket is going to undo all the recent untold damage done by sisu , they are deluded

You seem to be saying that only ST holders are entitled to an opinion. Surely that's not right or fair.

I am convinced that one of the reasons ST sales are so low is because the 6/12 match deals are such good value. A number of people considering a ST will surely plump for a 12 match package instead and see how the season pans out.

Early bird ends 30 June, surely it would make sense to extend it just by one day to include the opening of the new shop. Unveil the new kits the same day and have a couple of new signings announced the same day and modelling the new kit at the unveiling could give sales a good boost.

How much do those work out per game in comparison then?

I think People can't squeak lack of investment If they aren't investing either.
