yeah the select seats doesn't work for me on ipad (I just wanted to see which ones had gone), but as I wanted to renew a seat I could get through to the check out to buy that one.

If the shop is packed as you say I think you're being unfair having a go at the staff. What are you expecting exactly? A member of staff and personal till for every single customer in the shop?

From what I could see it's not the staff it's the fans slowing it down, nobody wants your life story just choose seats pay and piss off it's not this is your life.

Am I the only one that thinks the clubs shouldn't have released the prices & info on the 6/12 match packages til after the ST early bird price ended, as people who would have probably got ST but weren't sure will test the water on next season with a 6/12 package before committing?

Agree. The match packages are of such good value that we must have sold a fair few to supporters that would have otherwise bought STs.

I guess they don't want to broadcast it in case it encourages other fans to buy packages rather than STs.

I was never going to buy a season ticket (as I know I'm going to miss a few regardless) but I wanted to show some support so have bought a match package along with a mate that means we'll both be attending more than we went to last season. If you have a ticket in your pocket you go; whereas if you haven't committed, your other half will always find a reason why you need to go shopping to Stratford etc. If there are a few out like there me then that has got to help with attendances overall?

Add two more season tickets to the total.
Bought online yesterday and was a little surprised how many decent seats are still available in the ex-premium areas.
But, guess affordability is the key word. Although ST's prices are low a lot of people are on tight budgets. The packages are a good idea and suit a lot of supporters. I always go for the season ticket but generally miss one or two early games each year due to holidays and other commitments.
Whether you go for the season ticket, match package or pay on the gate lets all get behind Mogga and the lads. Here's hoping for a better season. My god we all deserve one!

Was it such a mistake really? They've got the money in the bank from those tickets now, if you add up all the individual match tickets sold through 6 / 12 match packages how many season tickets does it equate to? How many of those people are like SBHH and wouldn't otherwise have bought in advance?

Without knowing those figures we can't say really, although I can see what you're saying.

Aren't the match packages subject to Early Bird too?
