Assuming that true then definitely something the SCG need to get onto, that's exactly the sort of thing they are supposed to sort rather than bitching at each other.

they must have offered early bird to them for tomorrow?

Other than the 1 person on the tills everyone else employed by just sport. Said they might honour price tomorrow. Issue is, I'm not really available until Friday and live 100 miles away.

Tweet the club and let them know you were turned away. They might be able to sort you the same price over the phone.

Given that it takes about 2 minutes on line but about an hour in the store might be an idea to look into installing some self service points like you get at the cinema.

This is is a good idea and surely then they could get 3 or 4 and put them in shops around the area

Bu the way, when I asked the lady from Just Sport why it was so inefficient she said it was due to all the cuts the club were making (ie only one ccfc employee in the shop)

its 2015 but we seem to be using 1983s latest technology. im sure we could do something to speed the process up, like swapping the dial up for broadband for a start

Can't you just order over the phone?

I'm wondering why they didn't just continue selling tickets only out of Gallagher RP could have had 4 dedicated tills then while Just Sports got on with their element over at the Arena.

Didn't we have the same problem there that the retail staff would be stood around doing nothing while there was a queue for tickets?

You're probably right CD just thinking outside the box and that's easy In retrospect.
The truth Is there has been ample time Inthe majority of cases but some people's budgets are tighter than others
For reference what Is the difference between early bird and full price on both ST's and Match Packages?

I assume it's all down to the ticketing system, needs to be changed and be quicker.

Official twitter says we've sold just under 4700 in total, Im guessing the shop looking so busy was more down to the season ticket system holding things up

I think we can assume we will hit 5000 by the start of the season.
Add to that the packages then i'll hazard a guess it will end up 6 to 7k total.

Jeez! Not long back from the shambles that was the last day of the early bird season tickets up at the Tesco ticket outlet/store. Que of about 20 people when I arrived about 2pm-seen a mate who was about to get his at the front who had been waiting 2 hours with only 10 people in front of him!
Pathetic that they only had 1 till on when they know it's likely to be busy. My Mrs asked a person in the shop if we could do it online and she said yes and that would be the better option. Now there was a guy in front of me who on hearing this decided to head home and do his online which was what I was about to do but the Mrs decided to have a look around the shops for an hour so we decided to wait. Said guy then arrives back an hour later as they were not available on line via the club website! Luckily enough as I am a decent old sort I let him back in next to me to rejoin the que. They then stopped people joining the Que about 3 and there were a lot of unhappy people. Felt a bit sorry for the staff as they were just doing things as best as they could under the circumstances. I will hold my hands up as I had left it till the last day but what a shambles the club is if they can't get simple things like this right. I got served about 4-30pm and spent £400 on season tickets and a couple of new tops for the lad etc.
Not the best when you have spent that sort of brass.

Shambles but I suppose you start to expect these things with this bunch, quick question about the people who were turned away as they couldn't serve them before closing time were they able to give there contact details or something similar to a member of staff so they can go back and get a season ticket at the early bird price still
