@ Blueflint....... Don't you realise that you have to disregard the 40-50 years of following the "Bantams" then the "Sky Blues" like I have, because these young 'uns say so. We're not real fans because we haven't seen any bad times have we? We haven't supported the owners by buying ST's or paid on the gate for the last God knows how many years. You've got to forget the years of following the team with "Blind Faith" home and away all over the UK. Yes! some of our former owners were s**t, but at least they bought players to try to make the Club a better one. Some of us old buggers can see what's been happening over the last 7-8 years with these so called "Owners" Stick to your guns Blueflint, I, and some 15k others are right behind you mate. Custer's last stand has got nothing on this situation.

Well I am only 3 years behind ( and was 3 streets as a lad ) and the rot started long before SISU. Their big mistakes were not to renegotiate the lease and listen to Ranson when they took over. I have my shiny new ( Red ??) season ticket which is the 53rd I have bought and I expect it not to be my last!

Other than proactively damaging the club, what do you believe you and the 15k have achieved to date and what do you think you will achieve in the future?

Basically you're telling me that 4-5k ST holders are right, and 15-16k (Missing supporters) are wrong? For the record, I agree the rot set in before SISU. but no owners in living memory have treated the fans with such disdain and disgust that this shower of s**t have! I've said in a previous post that 11k fans are needed in the Ricoh to break even. Where the f**k was the investment in the team when gates were well in excess of those figures? Carry on buying your "Shiny red ST's" Hopefully for many years to come mate. I won't invest in a product when there's no product to invest in!(Emporers new clothes comes to mind)

Would that be proactively selling anything and everything in conjunction with the football Club, ie= Remortgaging Ryton, Selling every decent player at the Club, including moving the team 35 miles away to Northampton to play "Home games" Deliberately forcing Administration, Non payments causing "Embargoes"..... Forgive me for "Proactively" causing all this to our Football Club.... Must remember to give myself 62 lashes(One for every year I've been alive) and then bow down to your superior knowledge......NOT!!!

Did I say you did any of that?

Answer my question, other than less revenue for the club what have you and the others achieved by not going?

Don't make out you and the others are some sort of heroes for not going, just admit your shit supporters.

Steady queue at the shop at Tescos buying tickets started at 9.30. These are the match by match supporters Waggott needs to enchourage because they obviously want to go, want to support a team with a bit of hope. 5000 season tickets is about what i expected a lot of fans still waiting to see whats on offer, some will possibly buy part season tickets if performances deserve it but the walk-up support is the one SW needs to tap into and not criticise as he seemed to do earlier in the week.

Where did I say any of your opening points?

In my living memory we have been served some real rubbish at times - and I have seen a lot of it

As to investment a) where did the Highfield Road sale monies go and b) some of the earlier players were not "owned" by the club but by investors

I am not "investing" in a product any more than I am investing a brewery when I buy a pint. I go to see a football match with my local team and so far as I am aware that will happen tomorrow. Why not just turn up and do the same and forget all about the periphery stuff ?

I've given SISU plenty of my hard earned money pal, nearly 5 years worth and still they did fuck all about improving the team. Maybe one day when it finally clicks in that brain of yours that the owners care fuck all about you or any other supporter will you see the light. It's obviously well and truly switched off in your head. I'm not looking to be called a hero. Have you ever asked yourself how could they spout shit about being £45m, then £120m, then £30m, then £70m + cost of new Stadium "approx £30m" in debt????? You answer me one question....What have the owners done to make you want them here? Do you get pleasure listening to that shit? It's you and your like that are shit supporters by feeding their greed. You don't care what standard of football that you watch as long as you get your "fix" I'll go down to the local park and watch guys that have nothing other than a love for the game, but I'll enjoy the football without feeding the pockets of our parasitic owners. Far more enjoyment watching our local youth team play, incidently in the Dark Blue/SkyBlue stripes Dark Blue shorts(Dion Dublin era) that I and a couple of others bought for them.

How appropriate. Custer's last stand is an historical myth. The man himself was a media manipulator ahead of his time and an extremely nasty piece of work.

Indeed. Who exactly did CCFC owe £6m to that was repaid (or was it written off) by the Higgs Trust?

Not really, no.

Not sure why £300k of CCFC investment in arena was written off either.

Are you referring to the "alleged" £6m Robbie Keane deal

http://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/1k6j3i/coventry_city_fc_ltd/

Our chairman at the time Bryan Richardson was loaning money from a director, Geoffrey Robinson Labour MP (he had previous dodgy dealings with Peter Mandleson, all googleable) under the guise of a company called Craigavon.
So purchases like Robbie Keane ended up being funded by Craigavon all 6 mill and a % of the sale were given to Craigavon, I've not seen anything written down to explain the %.

This was quite public at the time wasn't it? Directors buying players and having a share of the returns. I could be wrong I may have heard a out it since but I'm sure it was common knowledge. I'm sure Whelan was one of those signings.

I've heard different about Keane though. I heard that his signing was funded all along by Inter and he wasn't our player really. A bit outlandish but when it comes to what Richardson would do to get a player in and how Keane was signed without Strachan knowledge it's a possibility.

Northampton was a totally different situation, what was the point in getting them back from Northampton if you still don't go?

Its apparent NOPM is a fruitless attempt, it won't make SISU leave. Its just a simple excuse for the deserters to trot out.

If you want them to leave they need to have something worth selling, for that they need supporters.

Whichever players were involved there was an alleged scheme of things where players were being invested in and traded by parties other than CCFC. So when people refer to certain "big player investments" one can never be sure the full story

Yes I am - do you know how the term "last stand" was invented and by who?

Oh also do you know he was someone who regularly shot deserters but was actually sentenced for desertion himself as he went to visit his wife during battle?

You question my morals and ethics, yet condone having owners like SISU???..... Very strange, Bullshit you say... Is that what is dribbling from the corner of your mouth?

No, where do I condone having owners like SISU? I don't go around pretending to be holier than thou like yourself and hide behind morals and ethics to hide my real motives. If I did then your point might be relevant.

Yea your morals and ethics are bullshit, I suspect the reason you get so defensive about it is deep down you know I'm right and you're ashamed and embarrassed and have to make up lies on the internet to make yourself feel better.

Wouldn't he have been shot for desertion then Grenduffy? If so, how come he was killed at "Little Bighorn" lmfao. Historian you say.... F**k me another string to your bow. Are you on £100k for that too? Still waiting for your link to Micheal Doyles wage. Don't think I'm going to get it am I?
