I do mostly agree (especially with the first bit
) but haven't been entirely convinced by the balance in MF since Hamer left. Also I don't think the midfield is entirely blameless in either penalty area. They are all under their xG bar Eccles.Yeah, I did wonder if that's a part of it. Stats also struggle to show how the midfield works as a unit rather than as individuals. Also worth pointing out that although he has been our poorest rated player in the last 2 games they are not terrible scores. It is a result of everyone else on our side scoring much higher than they normally do... which tells its own story.
I think Robins said about him that he understands and follows tactical instructions very well
