Nothing changes
Boro
Bristol city lose
Still just need a draw against luton and a win last game
So so poor today although 4 big chances

Perhaps some of our fans might now realize playing teams fighting against relegation isn't a given three points for any side. They are one off cup ties at this stage of the season. League positions mean nothing.

I think it's fair to say that whoever gets the last two playoff places is really not up to the standard required.

You can't capitulate against such limited opponents and have aspirations to get promoted. Apart from the fact that we struggle in the face of any team that shows above average physicality, we're so obliging in letting defensively minded teams find their shape.
Sheff Utd lost to them a couple of weeks ago.

By fuck if we scraped up by some miracle we would need to rebuild from top to bottom. £150 million wouldn’t be anywhere near enough on that showing. Almost no positives today apart from results elsewhere!

Beat Luton Saturday and a Derby win basically sends them down. Boro fail to win and we're in. Bristol will most likely drop points at Leeds' promotion party too.

Massive let off today.

I am not blowing my own trumpet here at all. Just wanting to restate the fact that teams at the bottom pull out wins at the death. It was on the cards.

It happens and has always happened throughout footballing history.

4 of the bottom 5 clubs won today. It's the end of the season, it's cup finals all round.

We need to learn from this. Luton is going to be very, very tough.

Fucking awful.

Play against a physical team and we show no desire to get stuck in at all. Play against a low block and we have absolutely no clue what to do - we just pass it about around the back four until we give it away. Did it under MR and still doing it under FL. Just try and get the ball into a dangerous area. Swing the ball in and see what happens and be ready for the second ball. Even fucking shoot from the edge of the area if need be. But just passing it from side to side never, ever gets us anywhere.

yes, the turning point was not sending off the nailed on red who went on to score two and set one up, and the game may well have been very different, but it still doesn't excuse us being shite. As we have been against teams that play like this all season.

No-one deserves an even half decent mark. Collins back to usual, Lati just trying to fall over and get a foul, MvE giving the ball away, Bidwell just looking like his age is catching up with him, Grimes playing too deep against a low block, Simms not being able to control anything or even look up for the scrap against them, Wright was shite but will get away with it because he scored, Sakamoto totally anonymous.

And I can't see it being any better against Luton. Another small, intimate ground with a big, physical team fighting for their lives. And FL doesn't seem to have the flexibility to change against those tactics. I'd go 3-5-2.

Does anyone have a way of finding out if anyone's conceded more goals vs. how many shots on target faced? Might be a league table where we'd be top!

When Luton watch are performance today they will be confident that they can turn us over they will be fighting for survival we just haven’t got any fight in us when it matters for the big games, so many no shows from our players today, as for Collins, today really showed beyond any doubt he is the biggest liability in the team and needs to be dropped he is Sunday league standard at best

With a lot of luck both Boro and ourselves win at the weekend, Leeds batter Bristol and a draw guarantees us both a playoff spot in the last game.

The whole team are shit
Massive summer clear out needed.

Collins, Asante, Binks, Joel, Patterson and Simms all need to be moved on.

We need someone who can play left wing and work for the side, we need a quality left back, we need a centre back better than the 2 we play regularly. Brad Collins is the worst keeper I've ever seen play for us, it's criminal that guy is a professional football player.

We won't be in the Prem next season, Leeds Burnley and Shef U will be the 3, ain't arsed what anyone else thinks, them 3 sides are a 1000 miles better in every position than the rest of this division.

The 6 players mentioned above, hopefully we can get £7 or £8 million.

Mason Clarke, Wright, Sakamoto, Rudoni, Grimes, Sheaf, MVE, Kitching and Dovin is a solid 9

Thomas, Eccles, Torp, Bidwell, Dasilva, Wilson, Bassette are good backup players.

But we need someone competing with injury prone Mason Clarke, we need a centre back that is good enough and we need a keeper while Dovin recovers and a left back.

I'd genuinely go

Wilson
MVE Thomas Lati Kitching JDS
Sheaf Grimes Rudoni
Wright Simms

Against luton. Juice Thomas up to high heaven.
Lati, after today's showing, should be nowhere near the team. I'd rather play Kitching at CH on his body than put Lati back in there.
