Is it though? I always thought it was odd that they announced it tbh. Why take that grief on twitter? It’s clear to all that no one is signed unless told.

Get what you are saying, but that feels slightly harsh. Have time for most of our midfield, with the exception of Allen (and even he isn’t bad as a sub 15 mins from time). The key problem is the depth which really exposes the rest.

Many say it’s about quality not quantity which I do broadly agree with, however just in pure numbers, our midfield is a problem. We do need more to support fitness and reduce pressure on others.

Wouldn’t mind if we got a midfielder who couldn’t play tomorrow. It’s the season I’m worried about.
