So he bought a Championship club with no ground - real commercial expertise showing there. Perhaps at his next Forum meeting we can ask if a 5 year license, minimal f+b without a new pitch...

    Ehm ,, you have included the word 'staff' which makes a difference. Do remember the cost inc VAT may be a staff benefit in kind that is taxed at the employees highest rate PLUS Employers National Insurance at 13.8% So don't get too excited...

    A 5 year plan usually assumes there is a year 6 or sets up for year 6 Which is why I asked if had any alternatives- if he settled to have 5 years and no option to extend then 5 why. Are you assuming at the end of year 1 he will review and revise his 5 years .
