    Match Thread Cardiff City (A)

I think last night showed the limitations of a small squad. Passed the ball around generally ok but basically ran out of steam physically & mentally. It needs to be freshened up but the injuries etc make that difficult. I hope if/when the playoffs become too much of a stretch MR gives some of...

    New stadium update:

Evening duffer. Yes all good hope same for and yours Yes there is that but they must realise that is fleeting and lasts until the next crisis somewhere else eg bins ? Am sure none of us believe a word

    New stadium update:

If its a commercial entity its a big problem but this is a council used to legal threats and not worrying as much about brand or how it affects access to finance. This is also not a commercial challenge it was about state aid. The councils legals are for the most part dealt with in-house so...

    New stadium update:

Kind of backs the thought that it was simply done to be as awkward as possible. You could call it spite. Hard to come to any other conclusion when SISU themselves couldn't be bothered with the paperwork. They must have known the case was without merit in the first place. Just one more hail Mary...

    New stadium update:

I think in summary The case closed by EU not sure when though. So is the statement just about the EU case? Sisu have no other avenue to legal recourse, so far from deciding to stop legals it hit the buffers and they have no choice. Stopping legals isn't just about the EU case - at least that's...

    New stadium update:

Only from memory but doent the state aid rules specifically say that once made the complainant has made the application it can not be withdrawn and any decision to proceed further is down to the EU commission. Been a while since I looked at it so might be wrong. To dress it up as sisu doing...

    Match Thread Reading (away)

I think the things i take away from this is that we fought to a win we probably didn't deserve on the performance. How many times in the past would we have lost such a game. Also it's about time we did that to teams, too many have done it to us. I think it shows stronger character and team...

    Match Thread Reading (away)

Just hope players other than Gyokeres can find their shooting boots and score not just rely on him Fact it is windy probably favours teams who play the ball mainly on the ground like us. Reading are not that great. I fancy us for a 1 nil win 👍

How much would it cost to purchase the club? (Any debts to take on factored in as well)

Was never ever going to happen for all sorts of reasons..... the bids and structure of them were rejected out of hand. The consortium didn't have the finances to make any bid that might have tempted sisu at the time. Given the club needs transfer fees to survive giving away 50% of those fees...

    Next Season’s Ticket Prices

To be fair to the club though the ST prices have on the low side compared to other clubs. The performance on the pitch has been good as has the atmosphere so I think £75 to £100 on the full price will be worn by most. But if you are going to be buying 3 or 4 tickets then that's going to be a big...

    Next Season’s Ticket Prices

Actually £75 on the full season ticket isn't anything like that once you take 20% VAT off. Plus a lot of tickets are concessions or early bird discounted i would guess assuming 11000 St holders it will raise no more than 500k possibly lower

How much would it cost to purchase the club? (Any debts to take on factored in as well)

was a depressing thought that went through my mind as well when writing it. But if they could show repayments, value, worth etc that adds a premium to any sale. Hold on too long and the value could fall (fishers top of the cycle ?) Show that Otium allows owners to take out £2m or £3m pa by the...

How much would it cost to purchase the club? (Any debts to take on factored in as well)

Depends what they can get out of player sales doesnt it. Bought Gyokeres for £1m if he continues his improvement then could sell over £10m. Now we are back in Coventry match income better, EFL distributions better etc ...... could allow SISU to take £3m out and still leave MR with a better pot...

How much would it cost to purchase the club? (Any debts to take on factored in as well)

Just my opinion but - why would anyone buy their high interest debt ? Surely you would only buy the assets. Thats a problem for SISU because someone buying all or part of the debt actually deflates the total amount they could take out over say the next 5 to 10 years because any such sale deal...

    Cov RFC Season 21/22

CRFC has a good feel about it at moment on and off the pitch making progress in difficult times. Good to see. I thought the referee was ridiculously one way in his decisions especially 2nd half. Dont usually blame the referee but this one definitely had an influence on the game that cost crfc...

10 goals in the last 10 games

The midfield looks good but it is not as effective as it should be imo. Certainly doesn't score enough and the contribution to goals doesn't stand out.

    Cov RFC Season 21/22

I thought cov played well in the first half, perhaps the pirates extra quality in the second half won it for them. Entertaining game but in the end felt a little disappointed. Cov really didn't threaten often 2nd half. The injury to the pirates player looked serious hope he recovers well Can't...

    Match Thread Stoke match thread

Thought that last night was a very professions solid performance. The team played well throughout. Stand outs were Sheaf (MOTM), Clarke-Salter and Hyam. The rest were solid 7 out of 10's What pleased me was to see how organised and disciplined we were without the ball. Yes Waghorn & OHare made...
