Match Thread Supporter's Meeting with Doug King Match Thread

That’s at least three of us who want the meeting to turn into a WWE-type fiasco. 🤣

Match Thread Supporter's Meeting with Doug King Match Thread

I’m hoping Doug’s entrance to the forum will be to Triple H’s theme ‘The Game’.

    Supporters forum 6pm November 11th

Any idea if those attending have had pre-prepared questions given to them? For Doug King. Doesn’t seem like the sort of businessman that walks into a forum like that, knowing he’ll be asked some very taxing and unvetted questions.

Amongst the worst decisions in the history of Coventry City FC

This is precisely it, for me. It’s futile at this point, to speculate either way, as if we get the right manager in, he could finish the work that MR started. Then again, the club could rue the day they sacked him, in the name of ‘progress’. Time will tell, but I can guarantee one thing...

    Transfer Rumour Tamás Nikitscher

Big unit at CDM, get him signed up. Unless the rumour is dog shit, naturally.

    Haji Wright injury

Were his stats similarly bad for West Brom, do you know?

    Haji Wright injury

Bloody hell. I’m shit with stat-based stuff, but that is somewhat atrocious.

    Sunderland Player Ratings

100% agree, it was a piledriver of a shot and Collins can’t really be blamed for it. Was a fantastic strike from the lad Cirkin.

    Robins has to go…

I don’t think he’d come back to this setup. And Doug.

Next Game Sheff Utd - Hamer OHare

Think you’d best do it, as our players won’t.

The block was hard to see properly facing towards our goal, as it looked initially like their player had skied it from 6 yards. Only on the highlights, from the camera behind our goal, can you actually see what a good intervention it was from Lati.

Yeah, there was a kerfuffle in our box, the ball was dropping nicely for their player (not sure who) but Lati swung his foot up and blocked it pretty much spot on. Then it dropped to another Sunderland player who had a shot right at Collins, who did a weird block/punch with both hands.

Thanks. Quite a crucial intervention, similarly with Lati’s in the first half.

    Tony mowbray

Top bloke, and I’ll always have a fondness for Mowbray. Despite how his last season with us went, it was inevitable really.

    What is wrong with people?

It’s gone as south as possible now, without someone being fatally koshed with a dildo.

Who was it that deflected the pass to the unmarked Sunderland player in the box, at 2-1? That effectively stopped it being 3-1, and game over. I can’t fecking see who it is on the highlights, I’ve bust my specs. 🤣

    Mark Robins managing another team

I’d imagine he’d find it difficult to turn Norwich or Rotherham down, if they came knocking. Personally, I think he’ll take a well earned break for now, though.

Next Game Sheff Utd - Hamer OHare

I think now, we have to be careful not to ‘romanticise’ these two particular ex players, given that they served MR very well and were part of our journey with him. As much as I would have loved both Gus and COH to stay, and still like them as players, I think an acknowledgement of them at the...

    Championship thread 24/25!

Incredible. At least consult with the lino, as he didn’t have a clear sight of it through the crowd of players.
