You might refuse, but I know a lot of people who have gone to St Andrews but make excuses about travel so they can go and watch it in the pub. People can do that if they wish but the facts are, they’d probably still do the same whatever ground we played at

Travelling to Brum is also more convenient for a lot of people than travelling to the rumoured new ground site of Woodlands school. The fact is, people will go if they can be arsed. A lot of it is just excuses

Haha, I’m trying to say that some people have said that Mccallum’s heart is no longer in it and that his performances have declined because of the sale. They’d call that ‘doing a Maddison’ because they think he stopped trying after he left for Norwich. I disagree with both assessments

I also think the pitch is more muddy than uneven. I seem to remember the Ricoh being greener but with a far more variable bounce
