Black Prince pub in tile hill

Houch, what was the name of the pub in Hen Lane Holbrooks just before the railway bridge and do you have a picture? Cycled past it so many times going to see my grandma and there was always a horse and cart tied up o the car park. Got houses on it now though......no fucking surprise!!

    What Books Are You Reading?

Yes, it was that documentary series that got me to read the book. Watching the series first really helps understand the book. The French don't come out of it all very well at all. Thank God the UK didn't get dragged into it!!

    Gun Dog Training

No idea what the attraction to Fox shit is but it's like a magnet to her. We got a plasterers mixing tub to bath her in when she does it. Takes ages to get rid of the smell completely.

    Gun Dog Training

Got a Belgian Shepherd which needs two good walks a day to stop her from getting restless. Sleeps in a 'crate' in the house, although it is never locked and she can come and go as she pleases. She is the most amazing dog until she rolls in fox shit!!!

    Smart Watch

Got a Polar V800 (bought on line when pissed). Fantastic watch and does far more than I need it to do in terms of fitness data. Quite big on the wrist but a very well made piece of equipment.

    Anyone live in Allesley Village

It has probably got a lot worse since the corona virus situation has kicked in. Reason being that the council must house every homeless person as they cannot now be left on the street. This includes all the ones who have been banned from the Salvation Army due to taking drink/drugs/fighting...

Most irritating things during the pandemic

Not having anything to look forward to (sorry if that sounds selfish). Cannot plan a holiday, cannot plan a night out, cannot plan to visit relatives, it's the monotony of the same day to day tedium that is getting to me. Will never again take for granted the freedom to just wander down to the...

    New Labour Leader

I work in a hospital and I would say that if we could have more care homes and rehabilitation hospitals to discharge patients too, bed blocking would virtually disappear. The lack of rehabilitation facilities for elderly people is a scandal, especially in North Warwickshire. As a consequence...

What's everyone watching while on 'lockdown'?

Without doubt the maddest programme I have ever watched. Could not believe it was real and thought it might be a spoof, like The Office. Compulsive viewing just amazed they continued to let the cameras roll and record it all.

    this 5G malarky

It's probably the same morons who turn up at hospital and demand an x-ray or scan for the slightest thing, little realising that both procedures entail having a dose of radiation, all be it a very low one.
