How long do we wait to form a breakaway club?

Instead of forming a breakaway club, why not just go and support Coventry United of Coventry Sphinx? Because any team you form will have no connection to Coventry City. I find this whole idea of seeing Coventry playing in Northampton as not being Coventry City a bit irrational. Especially when...

Those fans inside Sixfield Stadium only please ......

The original question has a notable anti-SISU feel to it. Implying that though those who go to sixfields have different opinions on SISU to those who don't. I don't believe anyone thinks being at sixfields is a good thing, even those who go. But one thing the supporters who have chosen to go...

Why do some people support sisu and acl not the team and fans?

Rather than writing an epic reply I might get round to e-emailing you at some point as you suggested yesterday. But one of the reasons I've found it difficult to back supporters protests, be it against ACL or SISU, is the negativity that it generates supporting the team. Even at the Ricoh, when...

    NTFC Official Statement re:ACL

Well we'd be playing in Coventry, we'd be getting money from stadium sponsorship, the catering, parking. And we'd be a more attractive proposition to prospective buyers.

    kcic weekly update...

It's admirable that you're still keeping this up but as long as you're under the guise of NOPM, any campaign will always divide those of us who want to watch the games at sixfields. Even stating that we are all city fans and we all want Coventry back playing on coventry, which we do, the NOPM...

    NTFC Official Statement re:ACL

Not so much the management fees, but i would question how much that management dream team including orange ken took in salaries from the club? That and how much it cost to sack dowie, followed by employment and sacking Coleman. But, as I've said, it's noticeable that they are no longer a part...

    NTFC Official Statement re:ACL

Just over 8 months, but I'll let it slide. It's all very well offering a rent of £150000, a year but the club would still remain without any assets. No assets, nothing to sell to a new buyer. SISU would be stuck with a football club that still doesn't own it's ground. Further more the full terms...

I believe Portsmouth took that approach of buying more and more players to keep the fans entertained. How are they doing now?

Here's a quote from a not so recent q and a. "ACL: Yes, Chris West and Paul Harris were advised post 29 January 2013 meeting during a follow up discussion with Tim Fisher, Mark Labovitch and John Clarke, that the Club wanted a three year run off period. This was totally rejected by the ACL...

    NTFC Official Statement re:ACL

There have been too many broken records over the last few months. My points included. But when I read some of the posts on here, it feels as though some fans still believe SISU are being shits just to spite the fans. And it's perfectly understandable. But somewhere amongst all that shit is a...

    NTFC Official Statement re:ACL

If you are a club losing money, for whatever reason, then selling players is a way to plug those losses. Why the club was losing money is speculation but if you're paying high wages, and not getting enough fans through the turnstiles then you'd expect that to be a big factor. PKWH has pointed...

    NTFC Official Statement re:ACL

I think fans need to stop thinking in terms of % of blame for the club being in this mess. The buck will always stop with SISU because they inherited a club in a mess to start with. They then managed to make an even bigger mess of it with their choice of directors and managers and didn't address...

If it was a lie, I would expect her to retract her comments though. In this day and age, if you print something that isn't factually correct in the media, you don't get away with it. Just because she lied once, doesn't mean she'd do it again, and certainly not through the media. For balance...

Taken from les reids interview with everyones favourite JS. This was what I was going by. “We didn’t want to distress ACL, but the club couldn’t afford to pay the rent, especially given the Financial Fair Play rules (which limits spending on the team to 60pc of revenue). We wanted to do a...

I want a proper discussion about Freehold ownership

As you have kindly pointed out, we are. League 1 team. So we don't need championship quality players, we need players who top league 1 players. In the majority of games I've seen those three player play in, they've looked a class above our opponents. For league one, yes, they are decent.
