    Sunderland Finance

Decent review of their finances here Sunderland AFC's 2018 Finances - Back to Back - FINANCIAL FOOTBALL NEWS Seem to be in a deep hole and team performance is not helping I wouldnt expect the 2019 or 2020 figures to be any better The charge strikes me as a protection measure, which must...

Match Thread Colchester United vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 9th Nov

Going to depend on whether the other strikers step up without Biamou and Godden. But goals need to come from the rest of the team too. Narrow win 1 nil

    Max biamou

Biamou is going to be a big miss loss for the next three games. Not only has he started scoring but his presence gives the rest of the team and the midfield in particular more options, and can relieve pressure

    More Wasps BS?

It seems to me that just about all of the clubs are hitting to salary cap limit. It will be interesting to see how that affects player movement and salary demands in the next few seasons. In theory it should slow wage demands

    Wasps current finances & hope

indeed, cant work out if that is pure bad management, sheer arrogance or a mixture of the two. Probably the latter but they have been massively over spending since they got here, and compared to other clubs they regularly make the biggest losses.

    Wasps current finances & hope

took a look at the wasps forum. I disagree with some of the thoughts on there - dont disagree with the wish that they had never turned up and bought in. However they have. It is the rugby side of the operation that makes the biggest loss. The evidence is in the accounts which state the holding...

    Wasps current finances & hope

I am puzzled by a few things in these financials 1) why has the gross profit margin dropped from 33% to 25% given the prices being moaned about. I assume it is partly the increase in wages but that is a big drop equivalent to £3m lost Gross profit 2) the CVC disposal was supposed to be only to...

    Wasps current finances & hope

no fp it is more to do with accounting rules and regulations. Technically the casino 10 year lease makes it an investment property not the wasps trading property so there has to be a correction in how it is disclosed in the financials

    Wasps current finances & hope

Key Points on wasps 2019 financials. Will try to keep opinions out of it - Turnover up overall by 1.6m to 34.5m. In that wasps (sports side) turnover dropped 700k but ACL and IEC (the venue side) up 2.3m - Operating loss increased by 3m to minus 5.162m. that has to improve it is unsustainable...

    Saracens points deduction

as i understand it at least some of the salary cap breach related to properties bought jointly with players by the Saracens owner. It was investigated by Daily Mail. Saracens maintained that it did not form part of a players reward for playing Premiership clubs and former players join the calls...

    Saracens points deduction

Saracens have been found to have breached the financial rules for the last 3 seasons and have been docked 35 points and fined £5m by Premiership Rugby. They can and no doubt will appeal the decision. But surely their structure is set already for this season too? Saracens hit with 35-point...

with that track record ....... no thanks, we have suffered enough for 11 years. That said SISU have always ensured the club paid the wages and bills on time (ignoring the rent strike which was for a specific purpose)
