You could say the same about every player everywhere who feels aggrieved, why the huge outpouring of concern now about Walker? That’s football, the manager makes the choice and yeah he may well go as a result, but if Robins prefers Godden that’s that isn’t it?

If you measure him on goals only, there’s more to it than that. As I said though, I am not anti-Walker one bit

This is the danger, I rate them both and I don’t want it to be a ‘Godden v Walker’ scenario as if one or the other is no good, but when push comes to shove Godden has the better record & at this stage it’s pretty clear the manager has more faith in him than Walker.

It is harsh but that’s the way it goes, Godden has more for me, looks like MR sees it that way at this stage… but that’s not to have a pop at Walker at all. Agree on Walker and Godden together

And that’s bingo 👍 Godden has the better scoring rate in The Chanpionship, you hung your hat on Walker having the better scoring rate, you were wrong. By the way Walker played 40 times in The Championship for Forest. Anyway I rate Walker, I just think Godden offers more.

You don’t believe in playing your strongest team then? Robins clearly rates Godden higher than Walker, how is it bad management to start who you think is the stronger player?

What a stupid thing to say We play well and win- atmosphere great. We don’t play as well and don’t win- atmosphere not as good. Jesus, hold the front page. It’s much better to grow crowds, keeping them & turning them into regulars is the trick.. something which we’ve struggled with
