    What Books Are You Reading?

I don’t think Tim Marshall has written a bad book, they are all excellent. Try “Divided” and “Worth dying for”. I’m currently halfway through “Shadowplay” (about the Kosovo war). Superb writing. Alastair Campbell’s Diaries are also well worth a read, I’ve just finished volume 4 and volume 5 is...

    Millwall Match Thread 29th December.

Agreed. I’d be shocked if they don’t manage to get it postponed. Their statement today is just setting expectations ahead of tomorrow morning’s announcement that they have picked up a few knocks or had another positive test. Call me a cynic..

    Stoke/Millwall/Luton attendances

What makes you think a lot of season ticket holders would “give it a swerve”? I can’t see why the overwhelming majority of us wouldn’t be there.

    Birmingham attendance

100% agree. I do a 160 mile round trip for every home game, irrespective of whether the game is on Sky or not and I know lots of people regularly travel much further than that. It's what we do, as nothing can beat live football, whether we were in league 2 or now in the Championship. It's...

    Birmingham attendance

We’re unlikely to get 25k for a Tuesday night game on Sky when we only got 17k home supporters yesterday. If Blues bring 4k, a total of 22-23k sounds realistic (assuming a reasonable performance in Sheffield).

    Bob Marley

I certainly do, it always lifted the spirits at some horrible times. Particularly remember being 1-0 down at home to Scunthorpe with about 6000 there, it was the only bright spot of the evening. We seem a million miles from that now.

    The Penalty

Bayliss in the first leg of the Notts County semi final? Hadn’t realised it was the same ref as Saturday until someone on here mentioned it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looking directly down on it from block 16 I knew the ref would give the penalty before Swift hit the floor. It was a stupid challenge for Dabo to make, Swift was going nowhere and Fadz was covering. Agreed it was soft, but easy to see why the ref gave it. Looking at it on Quest now I would have...

    Forest tickets

But they managed to send out thousands of emails to phase 1 season ticket holders with a zero value invoice for the paper ticket that they are now sending out! That doesn’t make sense. Accepting that not everyone has an email address or printer (a small % I would imagine) surely sending tickets...

    European championships 2020 thread

He has been good but I have no idea how you can think he has been excellent tonight. He didn’t effect the game at all and should have been replaced by Sancho in the second half, but no chance of Southgate taking off his golden boy.
