Agree with you, now we are higher up the leagues the development players we are signing hopefully will have more ability for the coaching team to improve.

It's great to have competition for places at all levels but we don't quite need to mirror the first team as often the u23 squad has first team players getting up to speed after a knock who drop down for game time. There have been quite a few brought at development level in the last few seasons...

Bidwell seemed to lack pace and dynamism when going forward at LB maybe but at LWB those attributes are very important. During his time as Swansea did they play with 5 at the back or a back 4?

Agree right now but there is a player there who could be worth that. Players are signed for what they are now but if they are also in their early 20s what they could develop to be.
