    Bury (Away) Match Thread

6.30am start means only one thing: grinding 1-0 loss (cf. Scunny)

    Fleetwood away

I'll have a word with the quizmaster :-) He may be counting the station on the East Lancs Railway.

You don't know what you're missing!

Have to agree with OP. I took the gamble of committing to some hefty travel but after securing Mogga, it looked like a decent bet and now it is bloody marvelous. I can't believe that it's a grey, rainy Tuesday and I'm already looking forward to getting up at 6am on Saturday to go to flipping...

It's a glue joke. EvoStik / Pritt Stick.

    Fleetwood away

Possible travel tip: You can get the tram from Blackpool Trivia: Fleetwood Town FC is the only club in the top four divisions not served by a train station. Still easier to get to than f'in Yeovil though :-)

My longest trip of the season...700 miles return. Although I've got the longest time coming up on Sat with a 7am–11.30pm day. With Scunny the other week, I'm quite glad that these aren't happening in the dead of winter :-)

10 pts from possible 15(2pt target)

The Shrewsbury game is at home and Bury is away. Thanks for the heart attack when I thought I hadn't booked my tickets & travel in time until I realised ;-)

    Their second goal

Cheers! So happy that it's all about football now. I might stick around while everyone is so happy ;)

    Their second goal

It's actually Stokes at fault for the non-offside. You can see Vincelot waving at him to get up in line with him, Ricketts & Reda. Willis is caught as he knows he has his man on his shoulder but can't step up because he sees Stokes playing him onside. Lameiras might have to take a bit of the...

    Wasps do have the veto

You are a coward because you don't want to consider (or speak out about the fact) that anyone else apart from our beloved owners are responsible and you don't consider that anybody else needs to be held to account.

    Wasps do have the veto

Well, you might not have noticed but I've been away from this nuthouse for a while and I'm well aware of the futility of posting here ;-) Just wasting time before I scoot out for more worthwhile escapades. As far as Get Cov Back to the Ricoh are concerned, we've done our job although the...

    Wasps do have the veto

Then why did they bail out the club in the first place? The millions lost to the city of Coventry & who-knows how much from their own coffers WRT lawyers aren't a consideration to a Coventry charity?!? Ah well, as long as Sisu get theirs then it'll all work out OK in the end and nobody else...

    Wasps do have the veto

We are in this mess because of the failures and fuck ups of various flavours of Sisu, AEHC & CCC and their accomplices. Anyone who tries to pin it on just one entity is either trying to make it easy on their brain (we tend to prefer black or white solutions rather than shades of grey); not...

    Wasps do have the veto

Well, I was thinking of the real world of going to games & talking to fans but in terms of Cov as a whole, you're right...they don't really care.

    Wasps do have the veto

Taking over the £14.4m bailout loan for starters. The Wasps deal just restructured it so council taxpayers are still liable if they default. £2m 2 years ago (after due dil) for 50% of shares and a 125 year lease. So we'd have had: CCFC playing at the Ricoh all the time Continuation of big...

    Wasps do have the veto

A digital lynching by a few SBT fundamentalists? As someone who's had a few of those, enjoy 'em...they're f'in hilarious ;-) Than again, get out in the real world and find out what people think of the council and this deal.

    Wasps do have the veto

Hahaha! How is this anything new? Or is it that Simon ballsed up his story yesterday and is having to correct it with this story? Yesterday's story made out that a new ACL chairman would have a casting vote but now we're told this is not the case. Or maybe the source is someone on SBT? ;-)...

    Sepalla interview

THE HIGGS CHARITY SAID: "Many of the matters that you refer to relate to matters which are best addressed to those concerned and not the charity. No doubt they will respond as they consider appropriate and to the extent that they are willing and able to do so. "To the extent that they relate...

    Sepalla interview

COVENTRY City are set to table a “conditional” bid for joint ownership of the Ricoh Arena company with rugby club Wasps, we can reveal. And in a rare exclusive interview with the Coventry Observer, Joy Seppala, of the club’s hedge fund lenders Sisu/Arvo, explained why - while insisting the club...
