    4th Round draw

The prize money rises fast so I would favour a home tie with a smaller club ideally Kidderminster as it would be a semi local derby with a big club at home next round. Great to be in the draw.

Match Thread Derby (H) FA CUP

Has anyone seen the match day guide mentioning the national terror threat being increased mentioned about 4 times. I am not sure why as it appears the national threat was raised over a month ago? If you Google those words and choose the news tab our match day guide is 3rd on the list. I am all...

    Kelly or Sheaf?

If Sheaf can tidy up a few areas of his game he is a force to be reckoned with at this level and will go higher. The 3 tackles he put in within 2 mins breaking up play yesterday were really impressive. He has trained on and credit to the likes of @Sick Boy and @Frostie who have been long term...

    Robins: “Split in the camp”

If the views of some scientists (about 3/4 way down the guardian article come to fruition there could come a time in the not too distant future that people (players) go about their daily lives even if they have covid. It's perhaps a little optimistic from where we are now but given the seemingly...

    Jamie Allen signs new Contract

Grendel its Christmas and i have no desire to argue with you. Look at my posts I am 100% defending your right to have the opinion that Allen is worthless. On two occasions now you have decided to make what I can only describe as pathetic catty comments and I have no idea why. I am also conscious...

    Jamie Allen signs new Contract

I suspect it's not accurate in all cases. Jobello at 200k is clearly overvalued and at anything less than a million + for Sheaf is being underrated. My only point has always been that Allen is not worth zero pounds and zero pence. To say otherwise in my view is slightly strange given the money...

    Jamie Allen signs new Contract

Well on that basis, given those two are next worthless my 200k valuation is probably not a million miles away.

    Jamie Allen signs new Contract

Your fully entitled to your opinion and unlike yourself I will keep it friendly and respectfully disagree. Here is a link to a transfer market website where they evaluate player values. They think he is worth 450k, I said 200k as I don't think he is that good but there you go...

    Jamie Allen signs new Contract

I would guess about 200k. Todd Kane!?! QPR wanted him off their wage bill and there were interpersonal issues too. On that basis the comparison was a poor choice. We also do have a number of worthless players in our squad that we would release for nothing but Allen is not one of them and the new...

    Jamie Allen signs new Contract

Are you suggesting Allen, a player who has played a fair amount of games in the championship for a team nearer the business end rather than basement of the league has no re-sale value?

    Jamie Allen signs new Contract

I suppose it would depend on the terms that he has agreed and how much game time they are promising? If he has signed for the same money (or close to that) it just suggests we are protecting the resale value and giving ourselves time to find better players as it takes time to evolve the squad...

    25% of EFL

I think you may wish to look at the data again as table 11 is only showing the prevalence rates per 100,000 not overall numbers. Table 11 shows that those unvaccinated have disproportionately worse outcomes per 100,000 which on a macro analysis level very much does support the vaccine programme...

    January Transfer Window

Issac Moore if CCFC think he is the real deal get his parents and him in a room now and spell out the pathway we can offer and pay him decent wages when we can offer him pro terms. If we keep him and he is as good as we hope the 200k or so we might sink paying him a bit more in pro contractual...

    25% of EFL

Good overview and this information is under constant review as there is so much we don't yet know about the durability of any immunity. The fact we are on dose 3 so soon does suggest the vaccine has not conferred the longevity scientists would have initially hoped for (very diff from the anti...

    25% of EFL

Not quite that binary, I think everyone without protecting Tcell s and neutralizing antibodies should be 100%. As decades of epidemiology research has shown there is more than one way to acquire that immunity. Vaccination is clearly the safest way and should be the default.
