I make that all about spot on, and would love to see JCH and Ponticelli given a go as a partnership. But both UP FRONT, not out wide. Hiwula might come good too, but he won't as a winger.

Bakayoko in illustrious company with Runar Normann and I think Evtushok, maybe? Can anyone remember any other City subs to have been subbed?

Ah man I hate it when Svindal-Larsen doesn't come through! I tend to check at the start and then restart. He tends to appear more often if you pick 3 leagues, oddly-as does Maradona, who I have put the reputation up a tiny bit to make sure he does. Want that Maradona regen in a year or two...

Nah Thornton was an awesome AM in about 05-06 version, had loads of Player Preferred Moves-I built the side around him! The most wounding part of that version was that not only did Kyle start the game listed as a fan's favourite (how about that for research! Where on earth did they get that...

I thought that Clive was just getting the players wrong again, but no, it seems that Blackpool also have a Jordan Thompson. Jordan Thomson would have been cooler, as then they could have formed a mustachioed detective duo together.

You mean I wasn't the only Coventry fan on CM 97/98 last night?!? Awesome. I think that was the best version of the game, and in one of my favourite eras of football. And I played it to death at uni instead of doing any studying... I've posted about this before, but I'm working on an update of...

    McNulty.

Depends how much professional pride he has really, doesn't it? If he doesn't care about playing again and raking in the dough is his only priority, fair play to him, although that is one of the things that is wrong with the modern game-too much money and players with £ signs in their eyes...

    McNulty.

He might professionally regret it, though. If he writes off the best 4 years of his career, sure, he might be set up pretty well financially, but he'll have failed to make the most of a very short career and probably regret that for the rest of his life.

    Sam McCallum Confirmed

Whilst that is true, they were all proven to some extent. Westwood was the clear standout GK in L1 and Dann and Fox were earning rave reviews at Walsall. They were all ready to go into, and massively improve, the team-they weren't just investments in the future to make a profit down the line...

Brackley was fun, quite irreverent and wacky. Liked James Richardson as a presenter, too.

No having just seen it, I am amazed it went in! A pathetic dribble into the corner. One of the worst successful penalties I have ever seen-but who cares, it went in and we won! It was amusing hearing Robins talk about "well, he got the winning goal and he's off the mark" and then Bakayoko admit...

It would be a very naive move on our part if true to sign up to such a deal-nobody is entitled to an automatic place. But you do have to wonder, as clearly he isn't ready to be starting every game yet that is what he's doing. Maybe when Robins alluded to saving a bit of money for Christmas, this...

Foster's sneeze in the background whilst Clive was talking post-match was pretty hilarious. As for the Robins interview, he does seem to going a bit gentler on him today, but almost lost it at "Blackpool away on Tuesday, a tough test?" with his "Is it?" reply, before dropping off to a mocking...

Got to be close to forcing his way in now? That's two very positive performances from the bench in a week and I think he was one of our best players in the Playoff games last season...

Would love to see that too, with Biamou instead of Bakayoko as we need an aerial aspect, but as you say....never gonna happen!

Pretty much my side atm, although am easy about which LB. I might lean towards Brown for experience, but Torch said he was tosh at Oxford, so maybe Mason. Hiwula has to come good if given a run at striker, he has the pedigree, like McNulty. I know Robins was probably playing down expectations...
