    Gustavo Hamer - CONFIRMED

I agree on approach. I just wonder though if Robins sees a role for a very good elder statesman who could improve the team and younger players, albeit probably only for one or two seasons. Not all 33 year olds are knackered - just look at ow much Gordon Strachan improved a Premiership side...

    It's not a secret now you've blabbed.

    Love this guy...

I did the same, around 1973ish. My teams were Blackpool, Grimsby and Workington. St. Mirren in Scotland from 1987 when they won the Scottish Cup.

    Fisher on Talksport

Joy isn't the owner; she's the manager of the Hedge Fund. The owners are the people who have invested in the fund that holds our club.

If you don't have anything nice to say.......

Newspapers, yes. It's much much worse now on TV than it ever has been before.

    Realistic signings

I very much doubt that we will be signing proven Premiership and Championship players - maybe one at a push. We cannot afford their wages even if they were free. I say, stick to the policy of acquiring young players from elsewhere. I'd rather go down, knowing that we are continually building...

If you don't have anything nice to say.......

I do read a paper on weekends but I get most of my news on Reuters nowadays. We've stopped watching TV news too. Why can't they just give us the news without their opinions?

    Also true. Good point.

That is true. But at some point, possibly next season but possibly the following, the point holds.

I think the promotion puts more pressure on SISU to settle but gives Wasps more negotiating power. If gates go up as expected it's a lot more money we'd be losing by playing in Brum. Not sure if the power shift has any bearing on the chances of getting a deal though - SISU don't like being...

Will we even see any of it?

Me too - probably 2.5 to 3 hours to Brum and 2 to 2.5 to Cov. I'll go to local away games but I cannot commit to the expense and time of going to home games often - as you say, the ticket is only a fraction of the expense.

Will we even see any of it?

Not entirely true. There has never been a HUMAN vaccine for a corona virus because they are generally mild and there was no need to develop one. There are some vaccines for animals. However, I do agree that a couple of months is unrealistic to go through rigorous testing. My wife used to...

Will we even see any of it?

I agree - it doesn't appear to like the heat and dies quite quickly in the open air when it's warm (so I've read). It'll love the cold winter months though and that's when I expect a second wave.

Will we even see any of it?

Whilst far from ideal, there could be a benefit to all this. IMO it's crazy that people in the UK cannot legally watch games live over the internet. It's only my opinion, but I think that the impact on live attendances would be small but the number of people subscribing could be large. TV...

    Walshy wants cov

I have some wonderful news for you! We will not have the same players as them. Putting aside the fact that the Football League wouldn't allow it, it would cause no end of problems when we have to play them.

    Realistic signings

The refusal to sign is all over the internet. Here's the tweet, or at least a copy. I think he's been getting stick from Villa fans and must have taken it down.

    Realistic signings

We won't sign Toney: 1. No way we're spunking our entire budget on one player - and even at a discount it would be most of our budget. 2. He doesn't fit the profile of the players we acquire. I was surprised we signed Godden. 3. Peterborough will see him as their ticket out of league 1 next...

    Realistic signings

He's refused two offers from Villa and then tweeted a vid of himself in sky blue wig and boombox singing 'City's going up'. He seems like a really good kid - I love him.
