    Gary Madine

I don't think you can have a thread without someone bizarrely bringing up Sunderland anymore. To top it all off, it's even worse when the cringeworthy 'Scumberland' is used.

Shipley and Westbrooke have both looked leggy of late. Shipley especially has been slightly off the ball for the last 3 (he wasnt good in the Tranmere game despite scoring). Not really a surprise with the amount of minutes they've both played recently. Given how well Allen & especially O'Hare...

    Blues Game

Pessimistic prediction. We lose and people leave at a time which is unrealistic to get to the ground in suitable time and miss kick off then aren't back in Coventry within 20 minutes and all the first timers will be saying 'Knew I should never have gone, it's impossible to get to and from. St...

    Blues Game

I have a few family members and friends (who in fairness do come to some games anyway) wanting to come with us, and as there are no spaces where our STs are, I am going to hold on until (hopefully) behind the goal starts to open up and get seats towards the top of one of the blocks. One problem...

**ALL USERS READ THIS, ACTION REQUIRED ASAP** - Sky Blues Talk forum statement

I know someone has stuck this as a sticky, and I might just be something personal to me, but I always skip straight by all the things that are in that section. Just thought it was worth highlighting.

    Clowns

I hope not. I’ve got a few mates who are Blues fans that we’ve said we’d go for a beer or two beforehand. There’s obviously some sets of both supporters that need to be separated but it’s a shame that grown adults who are good mates can’t chat over a game of football because of some mindless...

Would take a point all day long. As I would against Fleetwood in the next league game now that Wycombe has been postponed. It may see us drop down the table in the short-term but the kind of points that make a difference later in the season. Obviously, still hoping for a win.

None for tonight so thought I’d share. Marosi 7 - punched well from a corner, decent enough save from JCH free kick, the usual superb distribution. I could get used to feeling relaxed about our keeper Pask 7 - probably +1 for the goal. Did some great stuff, but also looked a bit rusty which...

    Tatics at home

Okay I’ll rephrase, why do you ‘support’ the club? I also just want to clarify the following but this will probably mean you’ll ignore the above question. So, you think the squad is no better than last year, which was our first season back in league one, but you think a Taxi is warming up for...

I genuinely have no idea what you get out of supporting a team. A genuine question, what do you enjoy about following us? I think with some stuff you rightly call things out and I’d probably consider myself to be in the higher % of people on here who tolerate you but sometimes you really do push...

    Standing up at away games

If we’re going down the discriminatory route, I’d also like to point there are at least four grounds I’ve been to: Cheltenham, Luton, Crewe, Port Vale where as a 6”5 bloke I physically can’t sit down because the seats are closer together than the length of my thigh. Something needs to be done...

Match Thread Coventry City vs. MK Dons Match Thread - Saturday 11th Jan

It wasn't me who used 'trapping' the ball, but I completely agree with your point. Trapping hasn't been a thing for a long time. He should have got rid of it, the touch is poor, what happened before was unnecessary. He should still shoulder some of the blame when it gets to that point though.

Match Thread Coventry City vs. MK Dons Match Thread - Saturday 11th Jan

Football has developed a tad since we were kids. Any side that plays the style of football we do does it all the time. Ever since the Guardiola Barcelona revolution of football of around 2009, you have seen rules like 'don't pass across your own box' pretty much ripped up. I agree, in that...

The passing was all a bit too loose, but it is amazing how many people making out like he is completely exempt from criticism in this instance when his touch was genuinely worse than mine

    Standing up at away games

I may be wrong with this, but I would assume that 80% of ticket sales are done online? (working in Digital Advertising I may be overestimating this). I know the club aren't going to want to be seen to 'promote' standing at away games as technically we all shouldn't but if we're being realistic...
