A Merry Christmas to Mark Robins

The greatest signing (second spell) the club have made in my lifetime. Merry Christmas Mark, take a key to the city. Perhaps the only man I would willingly offer a reacharound.

Match Thread ⚽️ Sheffield United vs Coventry City Match Thread - Monday 26th Dec

We may well get spanked but they seem to have short memories. We well and truly sodomised them last season. If they leave that much space again Vik could have a field day.

    How bad is this ?

Jesus. Big civil claim going in no doubt. Shocker.

So does my Grandad’s. Bizarre isn’t it.

Match Thread West Brom Match Thread

Thought we were excellent save for a 15 or so minute spell second half. Some of the football was devine, although we arguably overplayed once or twice. Probably should have won by two or three and I am chuffed we are competing with the Swanseas and West Brom’s again. Can’t wait for Boxing Day...

Match Thread ⚽️ Coventry City vs Swansea City Match Thread - Saturday 17th Dec

It’s got loss written all over it so we will probably turn up and spank them. City to win by two or more. Gyo to score and do a full pitch length Adebayor run and celebrate in front of the 376 Swansea fans that made the trip.

Things That Aren’t What They Used To Be (back in the good ol’ days)

Things That Aren’t What They Used To Be (back in the good ol’ days)

I miss when you used to put a game in a console just start playing it. No downloading, updates, sign up, cookies questionnaire, tutorial etc. easily 30-60 minutes to actually get going these days.

    Recommend a tv

We bought this one when we moved house in august. Was a bit dubious as never heard of them but it’s bang on. Well, once you turn off the setting that auto adjusts the screen mode depending on what you’re watching. Thought I was on acid watching football as the grass kept changing shades of green.

I can’t seem to use the site at all on iPhone safari these last few days. Pages won’t load and staring at a black screen. Possibly an Apple issue though as working fine on Edge.

    Qatar World Cup 2022

Thing is, if it’s a carbon copy of the first pen, Loris probably doesn’t save it. Too fast and in the side netting to reach. I agree he thought he had to try something else but he didnt. We looked the better side when trailing but when France needed to go up a level to take the lead they did...

    Qatar World Cup 2022

I actually think we’ve been decent. Very questionable officiating (putting it kindly) has not helped at all.

To be fair I’d like to sell an old Nintendo Wii we have in the garage but no bugger wants that either.

Smash and grab from a poor Reading side, in their own stadium. Seen enough from us to believe another run of good results awaits.

    Things that annoy you

Evri left a parcel in my bin yesterday. Didn’t even post a note or send an email. I found it when I took the recycling out! I was in too. Bellends. That would’ve ended up in the back of a truck on another day.

    Things that annoy you

So you’ve got a solid claim for breach of contract with your insurers. They’re gonna put it right and (presumably) repair any damage at no cost to you. In terms of pure compensation (I.e. not actual financial loss you can prove) over and above anything they want to give on a discretionary...

    Things that annoy you

Yeah, does look like the criteria has changed slightly then. I’m sure when I applied 7 or 8 years ago it didn’t matter if you chose to work at home or not, just so long as you did primarily. Sorry you’ll miss out on that very generous relief. I mean £4 a week doesn’t even cover boiling the...
