Yep I think your second sentence is very true. I do agree with you about the North, but there are some Union hotbeds up there. I much prefer Union to League, as I much prefer Football to Rugby, but do enjoy Rugby and am now looking forward to the Lions Tour.

You don't have to be interested in Rugby to dislike Wasps. Personally I am interested in Rugby, and dislike them. People have different reasons, but as its a Wasps section of the forum its no great surprise that they are discussed here. There are over 100 pages on Portsmouth in another thread...

I know you were replying to Terry Gibsons perm but this post is so blinkered I felt the need to reply. I also used the train to get to Wembley. I drove to Beaconsfield and got on the train which was predominantly full of Oxford fans. Nice atmosphere no trouble, no one drunk, no bad language...

Yes, they played well in what was a very good game. I think they timed their peak in form perfectly on the run up to the final. Wasps probably have a team of better players, but collectively I think Exeter felt they were invincible and as a team unit it probably just gave them that extra edge...
