    Tony Andreu

In terms of ligament damage does anyone know how bad a tear Andreu and Jones have/had? Aren't they graded or something? Heres hoping both are able to come back to same level as before.

    Crowd today

The fan ownership certainly had a galvanising affect for the Portsmouth support. It gave them real purpose in the direction of the club. I also think the geography of the place creates a certain 'island resolve' with a high natural affinity/local support towards the team. The flip side, we...

    Crowd today

Portsmouth gates approx 18k. Reasons why we dont/haven't, in recent times, matched those sized gates in order of most influence first, in my opinion: 1. Interest/passion for football within City. 2. SISU angst. 3. Division of football (has massive sway on point 1 for casual support). 4...

Agreed, it's a worry. Completely understand the torment/torture under sisu but you'd think 10k fans from Coventry is reasonable estimate per game?

Pretty crap to be honest but let's face it football is waaaaay overpriced these days.

I'd have all footballers paid a basic wage (based on division) then paid extra (up to club what they pay) when they actually play. Would hopefully force players to sign for teams where they are likely to get a game.

Higher attendances must have other financial draws though such as increased commercial/sponsorship attraction. We are just as likely to succeed in getting back to the championship in a 8k seater stadium then? Just think we somehow need to break this cycle of dwindling gates to get back. With...

Difference between those clubs and us is that we play in a 32k stadium. How would our figures compare with a 15k average gate? Looking at Pompey, a good comparator in club size/ambitions, you would back them to get out of L1 based on gates alone. (I'm ignoring the obvious wedge between sisu and...

Much like Cov rugby club unless we start pulling in regular gates of 15k plus. Worried club and fanbase will dwindle to such an extent that there will be no way back.

    Perspective?

Slightly off track but same topic. Pompey had 18k at home v Rochdale. I think most would consider us to be very similar in size to Portsmouth. We had 10k with a good away following. If sisu left would we have comparable gates overnight? Or will a promotion push do it?

Agree with Jackett. Looks good centrally so if he does come back he's not the answer to a wide man who can get to the byline...

    Transfer Rumour #CARLBAKERDAY

Was at Pompey v Bournemouth yesterday. Baker ran the show for Portsmouth. Excellent use of ball playing centrally and slightly deeper now. Corner delivery was good too. Delivered with pace and never hit first man. If it's true Baker wants back then he will be cut above anything in L2.

Anyone got a link to that 150-1 bet please???

    Anyone heard any rumours recently

There's a billionaire American looking to buy Pompey. He'll do if they decide to keep supporter ownership.
