    But going with too many parties will end with parliament being gridlocked again. Today's result is as much about the stagnant parliament (with labour labour blocking it up) as it is Brexit and Labour's spending plans.

    Still wouldn’t be enough for those that shout the loudest though would it? If Scotland want a referendum and the vote to go it alone then let them go. They won’t vote for independence. People always seem to forget the silent majority.

    They won’t leave the union. They can’t afford it. They should have gone when North Sea oil was booming and invested the money wisely on infrastructure for the future. That ship has sailed.
