Yes, lovely, but more of a 16 than a 10, with that chest!

    Wasps downward spiral...

That's clearly the case - and all ST holders, whether they turn up or not. It would be an easy way to do some actual money-laundering (although I'm not suggesting for a minute that is what any Wasps company is doing - they are simply using the exaggerated figures to paint an overly rosy picture...

    Forced out for dating employee

Actually, is it unusual/refreshing that it wasn’t the junior woman who was forced to leave?

    Taskmaster on Dave

I thought series 6 was one of the best (not least due to my first exposure to the delightful Aisling Bea), especially the parts where they mercilessly ripped the piss out of Mark Watson. That task they made only him do which lasted months was priceless! And the film Sally Phillips made of Alex’s...

    More Wasps BS?

As i understand it, it isn't so much the wage bill per se, It's the other "business arrangements" between the Chairman (Nigel Wray) and the players which meant they were effectively being paid by the club for that too.

    More Wasps BS?

I looked at the ticket prices last season, and i think for the game against Northampton, you could have got a seat in the "away " end (when City played there) for £21, but anything alongside the pitch is just crazy money. ST prices at Worcester, who are always threatened with relegation (when...

    More Wasps BS?

Yes - unless the Prem teams get their way and abandon relegation altogether!! Even with 35 points docked in the past 3 seasons, Saracens would not have gone down (other than on Nigel Wray, obviously), but wouldn't have finished in the top 4 for the play-offs.

    Coventry RFC 2019/20 season

Being 28-14 down and coming back to 28-all at Ealing is a massive indicator of their will to win, whereas they've folded before, as OldSB says! Can't see them overhauling Falcons though - the two head-to-heads will be key.

    Saracens points deduction

Shame it's not Wasps, but this is massive! Sarries now on -26 points!

    Forced out for dating employee

The boss of Intel had to leave his job under similar circumstances not too long back. I don't suppose the "subordinate" woman at McD's was a burger-flipper - but it wouldn't matter if she was.

    Taskmaster on Dave

I think that was presenters and judge throwing their toys out of the pram, rather than editorial decisions. Although i'm not sure if Mel & Sue might have been contracted to the BBC??? I'm sure it will still be Avalon productions doing Taskmaster (who i think is Frank Skinner's company), so they...

And presented by annoying twats (paid highly for simply mucking about) you'd like to punch square in the face. And i include Flintoff in that!

    General Election 2019 thread

FWIW, I sit on the parish council in my village, and while our district council is not a particularly rotten borough (predominantly Tory), i don't think that party politics has a place at that level - decisions need to be made for the good of the people of the district.
