Ten for £10 offer against Wycombe

Hang on - lots of people including me having pointed out that the low crowds are bugger all to do with price, it's the fact that the market for watching us in the re-branded Division 4 is far more limited than it is if we were in higher divisions. Either that, or us and every League Two club...

    What recent event?

Whatever happened to Alan Poole @ the CET?

Any idea what he's actually up to now, notwithstanding the "humorous" suggestions above?

Robins and the last 11 games... January cannot come quick enough.

Don't panic Mr Mainwairing. Going on a bad run isn't a sackable offence. We're 7th, chill out!

You do see comments like that when our keeper has a bad moment, blaming Oggy for not teaching him to kick/catch etc. Also a while ago there was a thread basically blaming the club's culture on Oggy and saying he needed to be sacked. The scary thing is that I assume most of the people proposing...

It's one thing to make flippant comments like that, but who on here, of the serious / semi-serious posters, genuinely predicted relegation for us this season?

I agree with sentence 2. With sentence 1, who the frickin' hell thought were were/are dead certs to be relegated????????

It must be Oggy, sack him!!!!!!

Robins and the last 11 games... January cannot come quick enough.

This is the key - if the PPG of the last 11 game is sustained (a big IF), then the 1.18 PPG over 36 games added to the initial 19 from 10, means a total of 61 points over the season. Last season, that would have been good enough for 15th place in the final league table.

Actually I am surprised we're up as high as 7.5k....I can only remember sub-7k attendances being read out this season.

Unfortunately that chimes with a similar report I heard at Stevenage which I posted in another thread. Even if it's all untrue, Sisu's history suggests they don't January sales!

He has an easy option of bringing back Reid. Now, I'm not saying KR would set the world on fire given his generally dire contributions last season and his inability to get into the current Col U team, but needs must and we need all the help we can get.

I'm happy to be corrected here, but I remember having the distinct impression when PV signed that he'd be playing as a winger, probably on the right.

Whatever happened to Alan Poole @ the CET?

Or headed off to the North bank of the river Mersey with his friend Mr Liver.

Whatever happened to Alan Poole @ the CET?

Sorry this is the best I can think of on the spur of the moment.................he's gone to an undisclosed seaside location with his friend Mr Black. Again, sorry....

Which makes it all the stranger that he signed for us specifically to play in that role.

Yep, very possibly. I hesitated before typing that, but in the end I understood at the time he was signed that he'd be playing as a right winger, and in playing him in that role means MR was entitled to better performances.

I think you're being a bit harsh. Out of 12/13 summer signings, most have either been a success (Kelly, Doyle, Duck, Grimmer, Rod, Davies) or haven't had much of a chance through injury or team selection (Hyam, Andreu, O'Brien). OK it's a bit questionable to re-sign Haynes and Beavon but most of...
