    Shame on you Coventry Telegraph

Don't think so - I have never been a fan of the X-files anyway! I personally think that Les Reid has a strong influence at the telegraph and he genuinely thinks the way forward is to give in to Joy Sepalla's demands for the freehold of the Ricoh. Despite the poll suggesting that the majority of...

    Shame on you Coventry Telegraph

That is a bit simplistic isn't it - do you not know the history of all of this or are you trying to wind people up? If SISU had come along and bought the club and stadium for a fair price initially nobody would have been happier than me. However to come along, buy the club, lie to the fans...

    Shame on you Coventry Telegraph

Headline:- "Could Ricoh Arena be sold to Coventry City owners Sisu for £7m?" Phrased as a question rather than a statement admittedly but still trying to 'ease' the idea into people's subconscious. As for not mentioning Parliament - I rest my case.

    Shame on you Coventry Telegraph

Looks to me like the Coventry Telegraph have set out their stall. They are firmly behind the 'sell the Ricoh to SISU at a snip' idea - no doubt driven by Mr Reid. Totally disagree with this - giving in to demands by a hedge fund - thin end of the wedge. Also the last seven headlines under...

    Annoyance is Growing

No one is gloating about this. It's just a sure sign that people realise that SISU just can't be trusted. Giving them the stadium does not guarantee success for the football team, in fact they are so incompetent I could see both they stadium and the team becoming a disaster.

Joy must never ever get her 60 million back

It's not a defense of the council, it's a condemnation of SISU. They went into this knowing what the rent deal was, then after 5 years of trashing the team turn round and blame the council for everything because of the high rent.

    Distress

This is a very true statement. I would love SISU if they did this. Doing something beneficial for Coventry City would make the fans like them. I think we are stating the obvious here really. However having seen SISU operate for the last 5 or 6 years I know very well they wouldn't go on a...

    Otium accounts filed!

I know, imagine how bad it would be if ccfc had paid their rent as well. Don't you think Otium could save money by not paying the rent at Northampton?

Everyone on the hill for Saturday

They do - not to the hill but to the away games.

Why the need to see Joy?

I don't need to see her personally but those last photos of her back made me laugh. Put me in mind of a consumer program where they have tracked down some dodgy builder. In her interview she said she is a private person. More likely she doesn't want to be recognized by all of the people...

    NTFC Official Statement re:ACL

Why do people keep arguing that SISU didn't know what they were getting into. They saw the books before they took over, it was the temptation of getting their hands on the stadium and the surrounding that brought them here. Their own greed has brought their downfall as they haven't acquired the...

    NTFC Official Statement re:ACL

Nick, SISU have been in charge of CFCC long enough to see whether they are competent and whether they have the clubs best interests at heart. Their current track record shows that they are incompetent and do not give a Camel's hump about the team, surely you can see that.

    I just don't understand....

To me the team in Northampton are no longer ccfc. Managers come and go, players come and go. They have all gone now. The team is where the fans hearts are. I understand your feelings but while people still regard the team owned by SISU as CFC then they are letting their selves in for a whole...

they have their own history. This one has to be the continuation of ccfc

    I just don't understand....

I have touted it quite a bit on this thread but forming a new team doesn't seem a very popular idea with the fans. Looks like the perfect solution to me though.

    I just don't understand....

An a great job they have done so far! I repeat - get a new team and get shot of the lot of them! Actually the point I was making there is that Sepalla claimed to feel empathy with football fans when in he same breath saying she new nothing about football. I doubt she feels much for the fans at...

    I just don't understand....

You may not care less about what happens to the Ricoh, but there a lot of other Coventry taxpayers who do. If we take the figure of 10,000 as those who are passionate about the team then we can safely say that the vast majority of the city's taxpayers, who bailed out the club when the council...

    I just don't understand....

I know my post was quite long and the following quote was not emphasised but:- "This is my point of view. I will never got to see CCFC play again it is owned by SISU - full stop. If a new Coventry team was created to play in the Ricoh and were branded the new sky blues they would get my full...

    I just don't understand....

Didn't you read about where their return comes from. Why should the people of Coventry bail out their failure with the football club? This has become a wider issue than just football. If their are negotiations for the stadium SISU will take the same stance as with the rent - they will expect...

    I just don't understand....

A company buys the football club I support. In the space of 5 years they sell most of the players that are worth anything, 'gain' demotion to league one, build up an enormous debt, treat the fans with total disdain, take the team away from Coventry to ground share 35 miles away, and reduce the...
