Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

I agree, but I presume he doesn't actually have the money to buy it so he is teasing SISU with offers to see how they respond

    I'm quite excited....

,,,,,,,,, and the whole point of NOPM is to reduce the club's earnings. Actions have consequences

    Alex Lacey

Really? Willis and Stevenson were good enough to attract offers in Jan. In fact, some on here said they were already sold. And to address another point (sorry I don't know how to do multiple quotes) Players like Turnbull will make mistakes; they are 3rd / 4th division players for a reason

    ST sales

All this is true but one day we all hope that the club will start to become successful again. It may be as a result of a change of ownership or a change of policy by the current owners (unlikely I know) or some other twist of fate. When it gets to a stage that people start to return, I just hope...

    Sordell v Beavon

He's playing for Burton, but I'm sure he would have been delighted to play for us in Div 4. But even the best strikers need others to create chances

    Better the devil you know?

A lot of us hate SISU and Fisher so much that we would do anything to be rid of them. But that doesn't mean that any new ownership scenario must be better by definition. It has to be good for the club in the long term, not just a way of getting rid of SISU. I'm not agreeing with " better the...

    Leyton Orient

A few seasons ago they were the team to beat in Div 3 They were a break-even type business. They got a new owner with money to invest.... As they say, be careful what you wish for.....

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

Supporting the boys for me is ok but everyday, every year it must get harder to do for loyal fans, i dont have this issue i gave up on the club while these are here a while ago. It hurts but i know it will not get better while they are in control and question others for trying to change it...

    New CEO idea

I agree with your logic but I can't see that Joy would take that line of thought. it would be nice if she did

    New CEO idea

All those points have some validity, but....................... .............. he wouldn't do what Joy told him to do so he's not her kind of man

.....But we'll be ok because there can't be any owners worse than SISU.....

It's not an either / or

My thoughts are that, if a Russian Oligarch, an Arab Prince or a Chicken Farmer wanted to buy a football club they would not want CCFC, they would want a club with a higher status, higher profile etc. Hence we are limited to local interest at least to promote or facilitate a consortium or...
