Match Thread Coventry City - Forest Green Rovers Match Thread - Tuesday 17th Oct

That's 10 of the 11 I picked, the only other being he's dropped Devon but retained Biamou up front.

MR has just sent me a text on this and told me the line-up will be: Burge Stokes Grimmer Willis McDonald Doyle Kelly (or Stevenon if LK fails fitness test) Jones Devon McNulty Duck

    No More Signings

He's right though. I agree with everyone who says it's about the lack of service - for me, Vincenti has been a disappointment, Devon hasn't fully stepped up, Andreu is obviously out now and JJ is being watched heavily by teams who know how much we rely on him. I said at the time the window...

    Michael McIndoe

In my mind he was going to rampage down the wings and score 15 for the season on his own - hence my comment "one of the most disappointing", as I'd set high expectations in my mind - I didn't say "one of the worst", which as you rightly say, he wasn't.

Player signing Contract Extension - Jordan Willis

Fuck off, any player who's ever played for us was/is better than ROD.......oh wait, you mean Rod McDonald.....

    Peter Reid's book...

He also scored a very late pen at Dagenham and Redbridge in the League Cup to win the game for us back in 2012 unless I am very much mistaken.

Are you saying you thought you were hallucinating and imagining it due to you having a crack pipe before the game??? That's how it reads, anyway!

They must have thought they were the Wolf of Wall Street. Now they're mostly turning out in non league doing normal day jobs.

He was really good at Bristol City, shame he necer replicated that form for us. One of the most disappointing signings we have ever made.

    Ponti to start tomorrow?

Maybe the answer to our productivity problem is to sign Moussa - I think he's available on a free and presumably we could play him straight away even if he signs before the window re-opens.

The last year a really big storm hit the UK......

I was looking up at the sun a minute ago and it's a blazing red disk up in the middle of the sky........weird

    Ponti to start tomorrow?

What about McNulty and Duck together up front? That'd be my choice.

    Ponti to start tomorrow?

I don't understand why he's been brought on so late by MR. If you're going to bring on a striker from the bench as a tactical sub, why wait until there's a couple of minutes to go - why not give him 20 mins?

The last year a really big storm hit the UK......

So either we're gonna win something, or, maybe this is the end of the world. From the last book of the Bible, the Book of Revalations describing Judgement Day as similar weird stuff going on in the sky.

    Biamou

No, I was just thinking of our need for a winger and the fact that on many occasions British players go out to exotic overseas hotspots only to return pretty quickly. Wishful thinking Nick!

    Biamou

If Baker's contract in India happened to be cancelled and he became a free agent, could we sign him and play him straight away i.e. before the window re-opens?

    FA cup draw

You're absolutely right and I was coming on here just now to correct myself. Current Forest capacity is about 30k, including the Trent End. But the old stand was knocked down in 1994, i.e. before the United game, so they only had three stands in action that night. Subtract the Trent End capacity...
