    Mark Sampson

To me this doesn't seem a sackable/resignation level offence. If he has said this then it's worthy of a reprimand, but it seems OTT to see him out of a job. I think it would be reasonable to have an approach of viewing such comments as Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 etc where: Level 1 would be...

Any idea what's been the matter with him? Always thought he was OK, he'd be fine for us at this level if he was fit and could play at the standard he was at previously. Certainly an OK squad player.

Not that I know of, although you may be right. If he were fit, would you re-sign him?

First Ever Cov Match You Saw ?

Good spot. Yes, it hadn't escaped the notice of my CCFC supporting mates that I'd essentially picked a team from all 92 and specifically chosen CCFC, the least successful (in terms of top 6 finishes achieved) in donkeys years - in fact that was the basis of a fair bit of piss-taking. Basically...

Sorry if this has been mentioned before but I just noticed that Grandison appears to be available on a free.....would anyone sign him up?

    Attendance against Exeter

Question is, if we charged say £10, would the total increase in walkups add up to more than the lower number of walkups paying £24? If not, they're better off charging more. They have obviously costed out the point at which they make the maximum revenue in the demand curve.

First Ever Cov Match You Saw ?

Should have answered this thread 2 days ago, as my first game as 18th September 2007, so 10 years ago Monday!! Palace 1 - 1 Cov. Kevin Kyle for us. Was impressed by the noise made by the City fans on a weeknight in London but my mate reckoned it wasn't much of an atmosphere.

    Attendance against Exeter

Agreed 100%. I once went to a Bradford game when Bryan Robson was manager and they were slipping inexorably into the third tier, they made a midweek winter game with Watford free. The ground wasn't even half full. Yet in the Premier a couple of years before they were selling out at £25 a ticket...

Haha - I was going to add "I was surprised it wasn't bitter" but thought that'd be a bit harsh......after all, it's very clearly German wheat beer.

He did that against 'Boro I think the season after and missed in a "Torres v Man U"-style way. But that was in an actual league game where we were fighting for points against a decent side, in a game I think we lost narrowly. With Eastwood sitting out the season through eating too much and...

SHFWF. Looking back 7 years our fans now see a team with the likes of Bell, McPake, Hussey, Baker, Platt and ROD as a reasonably strong side. Ironically although as is noted these players were mostly from the fringes of our squad that day, the following season they were all part of our...

You can also get the ferry there (well, to Heysham, down the road) from the Isle of Man, Dublin or Belfast. True but useless.

Whoes the gay boy in the pink?

That attide is part of the problem. We shouldn't accept that sort of behavior, we should challenge it. 40 years ago it was ok to throw bananas at John Barnes, Cyrile Regis and Viv Anderson, that only changed because some people challenged it. Your response reminds me of every time i complain of...
