Yep. Like I say, SISU got the outcome their machinations deserved. Same with their repeated legal defeats.

While SISU own CCFC, CCFC is fair game. Without wanting to get into all this again, I was pleased when the council sold the Ricoh to Wasps as it gave SISU everything their behaviour deserved. Shame SISU didn't take the hint and leave then, or since.

Well they're pressuring CCFC whilst SISU own the club, so in their minds (and I agree) pressuring SISU's ownership of the club by criticising CCFC. I approve and would like to see it more. Man U fans have a saying of "love the team, hate the club" - that's not far off from my opinion. Not that...

Not so. IMO the CT does a great service in trying to keep up the pressure on the club by highlighting their faults. This is absolutely needed. I support the team on the pitch and the off field football side of the club, but not the club as an organisation.

It also makes me realise I've only seen us win away once in the league under each of our last few managers: Dowie - 0 Coleman - 1 (P'boro 1-0 in March 2010) Boothroyd - 0 Thorn - 1 (Daggers in the League Cup) Robins first time - 1 (MK Dons away) Pressley 2 - (MK Dons, Wycombe away in EFL...

I think this is selectively ignored by many. This and the equivalent purchase of the CCC shares in ACL by Wasps should be nailed to the cathedral door so that nobody can say that Wasps were given preferential treatment when their bid was accepted.

As I said to smiley, if we win it doesn't matter which individuals score because it's a team game and it's the overall scoreline, not individual scorers, that count. But when the going gets tough, as it did last season, you need your 32-year old striker who has been swapped in for your top...

Useless fact of the day - this will be our first ever league game against Cambridge United (#SHFWF) Anyone know if Nazon is now injured after last night?

Put Jones in there instead of Vincenti, also have Stokes at LWB, then maybe you have my vote on this. Never a fan of three CBs with wing backs, though.

Fair point, it is a team game and as long as we win then it's the team result that counts....if he contributes to that without scoring then he's still worthwhile. MR seems to think so anyway. However at the same time it's worth point out that, for a striker, his hit rate is pretty low... Makes...

For all of those amongst you who care, Beavon's record for us is: 18 league starts plus 3 sub appearances - 2 goals 3 starts and 2 sub appearances in EFL Trophy / EFL Cup - 1 goal (a shot going well wide until it was wickedly deflected in by a Wycombe player) Total 21 starts, 5 sub appearances...

I think the point being made is that non-CCFC fans who live in the city won't be angry at the council if they're not seen to bend over backwards to help the football club.
