    Stanmore station

Ickenham worked well for me. A couple of minutes from the A40 at Hillingdon, loads of parking for £1.50 all day (on Sunday), and 20 minutes on the Metropolitan Line to Wembley Park. Far enough out to avoid potential traffic madness.

    George Thomas

I think the GPS thingies monitor biometric data on the players too - heart rate, oxygen saturation, etc. Helps in their training, apparently. Rugger-buggers have little pockets in the back of their jerseys to hold them, and they get taken out for analysis as soon as they get off the pitch (if...

    What a day

It was amazing how many people were still not back from half time by the time George scored the second. There was a bunch of know-it-all types in the row in front of us (528, row 8) who missed it cos they were obviously more bothered about stuffing their faces! Couldn't get a ticket in '87, so...

    Checkatrade 2017 Final picture thread

Oh yeah, just remembered seeing that bottom pic, the ridiculousness of the fireman having to wait for the ref's permission to enter the field of play to deal with the smoke bomb! WTF?! Will share mine when I have uploaded from camera (if they are any good)

    Gael MOM

Bigi was in the right place at the right time to take his goal brilliantly after the (albeit lucky) rebound, which calmed the nerves a bit! He had a couple of key interceptions, and stopped it on or close to the line a number of times (including that last minute melee, where we were all just...

    Warwick Parkway Parking

Yeah they have a multi-storey, and a surface car park, as well as a big area the other side of Old Budbrooke Road (right at the lights if coming from the A4177 Brum Rd). You can always buy a car park ticket for the appropriate length of time from the ticket office at the station. I assume it's...

    Flag and banner sizes

They might have *requested* that the flag size be changed, but it is down to the people who run Wembley to make the decision. Also on that post, Laura Hunter should have been emailing the Editor, NOT Mr Gilbert. He doesn't run the paper, no matter what he might like to think. Poor call from her...

Yeah, that bloody awful bank of red seats opposite the cameras, which stay empty until about 20 minutes into the game while they choke on their prawn sandwiches.

Especially if in the wife's convertible! Need to figure a way to attach my scarf to it, as it looks like being a nice day. Got a tingle down my spine when I heard CWR's new news jingle yesterday afternoon "6 days to go. The Sky Blues are going to Wembley" Can't wait to hear the Sky Blue Song...

Either that or they deliberately held them back for latecomers, as the front few rows of Tier 5 were priced at the next price point weren't they?

    season ticket sale............

I know what you mean in the question, but surely you cannot set the price until it's known for sure what league we'll be playing in (sorry for any hint of optimism). What are the costs of an ST among the "bigger" clubs in Div 4 (Pompey, Luton, etc)? Bugger me, just looked the cost of an ST for...
