    Cov City Players In Pubs

Micky Quinn gave me a pint of Lager in the Pippin one sunday night when I'd been on an all dayer. Used to see a fair few players in the Rose and Crown after saturday games. The one who sticks out the most is Barry Venison in his slip on's, White socks and Shiney suit and long flowing mullet. It...

    Coventry City A-Z

I'd swap Evtoshuk for Yakubu, and possibly Goater for Gayle. Other than that you're about spot on.

    Jon Venables recalled to prison

Apparently the psychologists thought that Venables was less likely to re offend than Thompson with one reason being that his home life was less chaotic and less violent than Thompsons had been.

Match Thread Coventry City - Crawley Town Match Thread - Saturday 25th Nov

The Physio coming on like he should have been a wheelchair user was the best one. There's taking the piss and then there's REALLY taking the piss. My only surprise was that it wasn't Mansfield and Steve Evans who thought it up first.

Lukaku get's away with kicking out

If he played for anyone outside the top 6 he'd get banned. Its always been the same and one of the reasons I'm glad we out of the Premier league. Its rotten to the core.

Match Thread Coventry City - Crawley Town Match Thread - Saturday 25th Nov

It wouldn't be hard to have a timekeeper at every game like they do in some other sports. They could stop the clock at every whistle or ball going out of play easily enough. The alternative is for Refs to grow some balls and stamp down on it. How many times has a keeper been sent off for it...

    Player ratings - Crawley

Burge - 5 Starting to look a bit nervy over the last couple of games Grimmer - 4 Gave the ball away at virtually every opportunity. Got forward but lost the ball most of the time and looked awful today. Haynes - 7 Defended pretty well, got forward and looked more dangerous with the ball Rod - 6...

    Ashes 17/18 Thread

First 10 overs tonight are going to be massive for the series. I think smith might struggle from a right arm around the wicket. Angle the ball accross him and he will be playing against the line of the ball instead of with it as he gets across so much and helps it on usually with the angle...

    The Gigs Thread

I reckon theres 2 or 3 in my mum and dads attic. The original ones go for good money on ebay nowdays. I've still got my Teenage fanclub T shirt from their gig at cov poly in 1990?91? and a purple Dinosaur Jr one from 1991 reading. the rest seem to have disintegrated over time.

In theory he should do well in Australia as the Kookaburra ball tends to do little after 10-15 overs with regards to movement. The Day night game might be different though.
