Good start to the weekend as I've just got my first Christmas tip on the round, a fiver, happy days !

Really enjoying listening to my old vinyl on my newish turntable. It's great finding an obscure album in the collection and sticking it on. And an album by J.J.Cale called : Travel- Log caught my eye as I can't recall buying it. From 1989 it is well worth checking out.

What amazes me is that hardly any mention of the quick change over of manager. Usually you get comments of we're taking our time, or we've got a shortlist etc. Bet Pocchetino was driving away when he spotted a car going past and thinking :" that bloke looks the spitting image of Mourinho ? "

Off thread a little. Albeit on a smaller scale, what about the job our manager is doing. I reckon he's working wonders with the resources he's been given. There's only one Mark Robins !

Went to my first game at St Andrews yesterday. Got to say I enjoyed it, especially with the win. Got a train back to Coventry about 7oclock, back in Coventry in 20 minutes.

As it's England's 1,000 International match this week, they've been talking on the radio and online who would be in your best ever England team from over the decades ? Obviously it's down to age as younger fans choices would probably differ from older ones. Anyway here's mine. 4.3.3. formation...

It was the same piece that was online. That's why people don't bother buying it anymore, as you get all Cov news etc online. I get the paper occasionally and saw it featured. Said he made toys for deaf kids, and was a great character.

A whole page in today's Coventry telegraph newspaper on Eric Mann and his passing. About what a popular bloke he was. Great tribute.
