I think that one thing any prospective buyer could offer (and oen thing that SIXU could do to maybe win fans over a bit) would be to simplify the ownership structure so that CCFC is essentially the old CCFC Limited or a new equivilent, which is owned, and owes its debts to, a single SISU...

Isn't Deering on the board too? I remember when Micky Adams was manager of Port Vale he was simultaneously a director for a while. I do not know of any rule that prevents this. Of course, if he does become manager, he may for his own reasons choose to stand down from his TD job and board status...
