I pointed that out at the time.

Why do they need to continue to own ccfc in order to pursue the JRs? The cases are between the council and Sisu group, CCFC not involved or named as a co-respondent. SISU could leave and continue the cases without any impact on the JRs.

I would be open to giving Robins another go, TBF.

So the article has no value because Simon has contributed to it?? He's not Les Reid you know - doesn't have a manic bias against CCFC. If it was the other way round I would dismiss it as propaganda, but frankly I trust the CT and Simon and their judgement and relative impartiality.

You bet she would. She'll never get that though, the club is worth nothing like that even with the debt. Nobody will offer £10m for that as it has no value. It is a loss-making company entity which owns a training site, rents a club shop, has a lease on a stadium, and has a load of employees on...

See edit above...£1 fee, and also agreement to take over some of the debt (no idea what the actual amount is). Others are suggesting a few million in order to get SISU to hand the club over debt free, but that sounds unattractive to me. Even if they did get an offer, it surely wouldn't be the...

No. The club is worthless and has no value. The only debt is to SISU and it's investors. IMO the deal would be for SISU either to write off a portion of the debts in exchange for the new owner to come in, take on all ongoing liabilities and operating losses, and take on the remaining portion of...

Most of the debt was removed through the admin process, it is probably sub 10 million now.

    New Potential Manager Thread...

Adkins will be above our budget I'd guess. Alexander is top of the league, why would he coem to a club that's bottom of the league? Jackett yes. He did well at Wolves and Swansea in this league and also with QPR as assistant to Holloway - promoted three times from this league. Also probably...

This precisely. As I said in my OP, there hasn't been any public acknowledgement about the petition, or the struggles we've had in the league. They're either trying to kill all the negativity off by ignoring it and hoping it blows over, or they are so full of contempt they have decided they...

Anyone else noticed how little we have seen or heard from TF recently? Without making this personal, with all the shit thst has been flying you'd think the msin man would be doing the media rounds to reassure fans and try to come across in a positive light. But he's been invisible. Two anonymous...

Mark Venus set to take charge

Sorry if this has been mentioned already, but one thing about CT's summary of MV: "Venus’s main remit is to head up the recruitment department and find quality players that fit the budget and the manager’s requirements for more than one season." If this is the case he should take one look at...

You know what'll happen now - 2-1 win!!!

So, who do we want ?

Jackett hands down. He's done it in this league with Wolves and Swansea (and also was assistant with Holloway took QPR up) and presumably he knows the area and may be reasonably local as only last Wolves recently. On that note, I'd take Holloway too.

Ron Noades, chairman, managed Brentford for a whole season IIRC.

Sorry to say it chaps but my gut feeling tells me we are going DOWN. And I'm normally the most optimistic person on here.
