I don't sign up for the clamour to ship out Palmer.
He is not getting in the starting line up but he can still do stuff that nobody else in our squad can. He is a great option off the bench.
Secondary benefit is he is absolute perfect player to dispatch lower teams in cup competition.
23 is still young for a center back, bollocks to suggest otherwise.
If Dovin (22) is our number 1
Which ever combination of these you put infront of him we have a young backline.
Binks 22
Burroughs 23
Thomas 23
MvE 23
Kitching 24
Lati 24
Dasilva 26
Bidwell 31
I'd suggest writing them off...
Hate how people write young players off for a few mistakes. Bizarre behavior. Players like Thomas have shown their quality at times. all players at this level make errors, I back our coaches to improve him.
Would take an old head as an option in defense if the budget allows but I do feel like we can cut out lapses in concentration and we'd be ok.
I'd say a Sheaf back up would be higher priority
Bit of both.
1st goal we had plenty of chances to clear it but it took a jammy bounce off Simms shin to present them with the sight of goal.
2nd we were caught well out position as the cross came in. Lord knows why the Oxford player went for a header when a volley would have been more...
I love the Specials but the majority of their songs are too downbeat in tempo to make good pre-match, goal celebration tunes or turn into chants.
I like the idea of a message to you Rudi chant but it's not the right tempo to work

*Obviously we won't talk about the fact the minimum most of those would want is 75k a week or the fact there is zero chance Matip, Ali or Gomez would move to the championship. Other than that great list 👍
Bit hyperbolic about how bad Simms and Wright were. Plenty of people could see their value from day one.
Simms especially even when struggling to score always showed good movement.
We really weren't, one goal came off an unlucky bobble off Simms shin the other was shite but they missed the driving header and the ball was not easy to track their striker had to knob it in.
Not saying we were great defensively but Oxford were incredibly lucky
