Match Thread Burnley FC - Coventry City Match Thread - Tuesday 26th November 19.45 ko

I do agree that we'd be playing better than this at the CBS. Weird how playing away in some games inhibits players.

Nobody likes losing - Burnley are a tough team to play away. People on here slagging players. They've been better than us, but I've seen dozens of worse performances. Their second goal was a fluke.

    Haji Wright injury

Rhys Carr saying he's likely to be unavailable for the next couple of games - that sounds a lot more promising than the original 8-12 weeks.

    John Eustace

Would sound tinpot to anybody coming in ...'wait until we've played these tough games, and then you can start'. Any prospective manager would / should find that odd. Imagine if we had lost all 3. and then missed play offs by 1 point, or got relegated by 1 point. Would be madness.

    Steve Cooper?

You in 3 years time mate. Depressing isn't it? :ROFLMAO:

    Former Fans Favourite O’Hare

Always liked O'Hare and was so chuffed when he signed after we got promoted. Today reminded everyone that it is the team we support and not individual players. Also enjoyed the pantomime 'cheer Hamer, boo O'Hare' stuff - although didn't really feel genuine vindictiveness.

The Hamer applause at the corner

Get over it - people liked Hamer and decided to clap in Singers Corner. It was the majority. Liverpool fans have done it regularly in the past. What I thought was odd, was the way the atmosphere dropped like a stone when they scored their second. Sadly, I think some of this is down to when the...

One of them was offside though, which sours his achievement 🤔 :ROFLMAO:

    Player appearances yesterday

If you meant I was trying to knock Jamie Allen, I wasn't - maybe he was a bit tired, and couldn't come up with an answer in that moment; I just found it amusing at the time.

    Player appearances yesterday

At the meeting in Warwick with Sheaf and Jamie Allen, the funniest part for me was when Allen's answer to 'who is your most difficult opponent?', after a bit of thinking was 'I don't really know their names, or who I'm playing against' or words to that effect :ROFLMAO:. Twas slightly bizarre...

Rven funnier as they're not even playing Slovakia :ROFLMAO:

    Viktor Moving on

It's getting silly now, the stats he is racking up - have been at a 'meet the player' event with Sheaf and jamie Allen tonight, and they were saying what a player he is (and a grumpy so and so with it!)

    England - Lee Carsley Era

Different leaving him out at the start than subbing him off imo.

    England - Lee Carsley Era

Cheating tw*t Molumby - always been a niggly sh&te. They have ruffled us though, and I'd definitely take Kane off, but I don't think Carsley has the balls for that.

    England - Lee Carsley Era

Whether we do or not, he's the only one who has gone past a man. Ebosele has Gordon's measure. I'd take Kane off based on this half. Bellingham looks like he's sulking, the Irish are pumped up at p8ssing England off.

    England - Lee Carsley Era

Ireland's keeper already taking ages with goal kicks, and all slow throw ins by their players.

Happily have a few Irish players crocked - a lot of them play in the Championship

    Imagine 6 years ago.!

Look at Sunderland with Regis le Bris. It's the person, not the 'name' that matters. If the person fits our club, I don't care if it's RVN or Danny de Vito.
